1. Your Lord has commanded you to be mindful
And those given knowledge exhorted the same
١. أَوصاكَ رَبُّكَ بِالتُّقى
وَأُولوا النّهى أَوصوا مَعَه
2. So make your ritual a lifelong vocation
Whether a mosque or a monastic cell
٢. فَاِجعَل لِنُسكِكَ طولَ عم
رِكَ مَسجِداً أَو صَومَعَه
