Dreaming of all kinds of things
١. وَما المَرءُ في دُنياهُ إِلّا كَهاجِعٍ
تَراءت لَهُ الأَحلامُ وَهيَ خَوادِعُ
2. While phantoms of delight beguile him
And wakeful sorrow and care assail him
٢. ينعِّمُهُ طَيفٌ مِنَ اللَهوِ باطِلٌ
وَيُوقِظُهُ نَومٌ مِنَ الدَهرِ فاجِعُ
