1. Though time may favor ignorance and wrong,
Calculation's units still to truth belong.
١. لَئِن قَعَدَ الزَمانُ بِكُلِّ حُرٍّ
وَخُصَّ أُولي الجَهالَةِ بِاليَسارِ
2. Its thousands wrong may prove; but truth is one,
And one eternal right can never long
٢. فَآحادُ الحِسابِ عَلى يَمينٍ
وَآلافُ الحِسابِ عَلى يَسارِ
