1. The fires were extinguished due to the excellence of your birth,
And the palace split open with joy because of you.

2. The club trembled and feared terribly,
From the awfulness of his vision that Anu Shiroan.

3. So Satahih interpreted the vision and the monks gave good tidings
Of your appearance, and so did the fortune-tellers.

4. Jeremiah and Zechariah praised you,
As did Ezekiel, for they were humbled by your excellence.

5. With virtues that the clouds and the
Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur’an testified to.

6. You were placed prostrating to God the Guardian,
And the universes rejoiced at your appearance.

7. Perfect, with no shortage of honor for you
in nobility, and circumcision was not imposed upon you.

8. So the palaces of Syria felt safe and they
placed you, with no hiding place for its pillars.

9. And Halimah came looking at her son
Perplexed, trying to describe him, though minds cannot.

10. And the son of Di Yazan believed in your mission,
Secretly, so that your grandfather the Judge would witness.

11. God opened your chest to four,
So they saw the angels surrounding you as brethren.

12. And you were loved within five with the shade of a cloud
Sheltering you in al-Hajar, its wall of adobe.

13. And you passed within seven by a monastery, so
its wall leaned down and its bishop surrendered.

14. And so within twenty-five Nestorius crouched
from you, his heart filled.

15. Until you completed forty and the sun of
prophethood dawned and elucidation became clear.

16. So the statues of al-Nayyirah cast their probes,
and the idols tumbled down in fear of you.

17. And the earth smelled of peace be upon you, and the
trees and rocks and dunes.

18. And the keys of treasures came entirely,
but asceticism and knowledge prevented you from them.

19. And you looked behind you like an imam with a seal,
though for him doubt would be clear and manifest.

20. And the vast earth became for you a mosque,
so everywhere was a place for prayer.

21. And you were helped with mighty terror against the enemies,
and the angels were your supporters in battle.

22. And a youth came hastily making peace,
willingly, and Salman came making peace.

23. And the wild cows and gazelles spoke to you,
as did the wolves, snakes, and sirahans.

24. And the terrified camel stooped to your height in submission,
and your palm glorified the fish.

25. And the date stalk fell, but you returned it
to a palm tree adorned and balanced by it.

26. And the two forests, when you called they came
until their branches met.

27. And the army complained to you of thirst that afflicted them,
so springs of water burst forth from you.

28. And you returned the eye of Qatadah after it had gone,
so no man saw with it again.

29. And the foreleg of the sheep related the effects of its poison
until it was as if the limb had a tongue.

30. And you ascended on the night journey, going beyond
the seven heavens, however the Merciful wills.

31. And the full moon split, and the sun of daybreak shone
after sunset, with no deficiency.

32. And there is a virtue that people testified to its truth,
no human can deny it.

33. You were God’s shadow on earth, and no
shadow fell on you if a place shaded you.

34. With your appearance, appearances were abrogated after
religions were abrogated by your religious law.

35. And evidence was established for your revered prophethood,
and proof was made clear.

36. And through you all the prophets sought help
from their Lord during adversities, to be helped.

37. God took from them the covenants for you
before times allowed you.

38. And through you Adam sought God’s help when
disagreement and disobedience were attributed to him.

39. And through you Noah implored when the
hardships of the ship overwhelmed him during the flood.

40. And through you Job beseeched his Lord
to relieve the affliction, so sorrows ceased.

41. And through you the Friend invoked God and did not
fear Nimrod when the fires were stoked for him.

42. And through you Joseph beseeched the Lord of servants while imprisoned,
his heart confused.

43. And through you the Speaker spoke to his Lord requesting
acceptance, so he was enveloped in kindness.

44. And through you Jesus called, so his Lord revived
a corpse, though it was shrouded.

45. And through you the truth became clear after its concealment
until jinn and humans obeyed you.

46. And if I fulfilled describing you fully,
speech would run out and meters would be too narrow.

47. Upon you is the greeting of peace from the Lord of the worlds,
and grace, blessings, and approval.

48. And upon the path of truth, your progeny, whenever
the breeze blows and branches sway.

49. And upon the son of your uncle, the inheritor of knowledge, before whom
the mighty cower due to his might.

50. And your brother on the day of Ghadir, when the
light of guidance and brotherhood of peers appeared.

51. And upon your companions who followed
the paths of guidance, so the Merciful guided them.

52. And they gained the gardens through their efforts, and they knew
that souls have prices that can be sold.

53. O seal of the generous messengers, opener of the
great blessings, the one who has favor.

54. I complain to you of the sins of a soul that
was created with a nature that the human was imposed upon.

55. So intercede for a servant whose matter is his disobedience,
though disobedience is despicable for servants.

56. For you is intercession among those who love you when
the path is set up and the scale is hung.

57. He came seeking permission hopefully
that his reward would be forgiveness.
