1. O weak-eyed one, you have weakened a heart
That before love was strong and filled up
١. يا ضَعيفَ الجُفونِ أَضعَفتَ قَلباً
كانَ قَبلَ الهَوى قَوِيّاً مَلِيّاً
2. Do not make war on my heart with your eyes
For two weak ones can conquer the strong
٢. لا تُحارِب بِناظِرَيكَ فُؤادي
فَضَعيفانِ يَغلِبانِ قَوِيّاً
