1. If your servant goes first or last
In the shade of your glory, he does no more than his duty.
١. إِن سارَ عَبدُكَ أَوَّلاً أَو آخِراً
في ظِلِّ مَجدِكَ ما تَعَدى الواجِبا
2. If he lingers behind, he follows as your servant.
If he goes ahead, he is but a veil before you.
٢. فَإِذا تَأَخَّرَ كانَ خَلفَكَ خادِماً
وَإِذا تَقَدَّمَ كانَ دونَكَ حَجِبا
