1. Though I'm oft away, reproach me not,
Each time you're gone, I visit not.
١. إِن كُنتُ قَد غِبتُ لا تَزُرني
وَكُلَّما غِبتَ لا أَزورُ
2. For distance intentional,
And friendship superficial.
٢. فَإِنَّ هَذا الصُدودَ قَصدٌ
وَإِنَّ ذاكَ الوَدادَ زورُ
