Is youth's heyday

And the moon's reprieve

16. Rise at dawn my friend
While night takes its leave

17. Revive the hearts
With a morning toast

18. For the morn has come
Night's army defeated

19. Dawn's rays now descend
On the garden stream

20. While clouds weep their joy
At nature's bright gleam

21. The earth smiles anew
In floral array

22. Though no rain has fallen
On this splendid day

23. The king's hands would serve
To water the scene

24. A lion is he
Guarding his demesne

25. All who come to him
Find refuge and peace

26. Scion of kings
Of illustrious ancestry

27. Whose reign shadows
The Valley of Protection

28. Towering over chieftains
And soaring over vultures

29. O king whose hands pour bounty
Like the rain's boundless store

30. Offer prayer on this feast
And sacrifice to the Lord

31. Know your station is not
Above that of a worm

32. Say: To God be all praise
And God is most great

33. While you are in the lowest pit
And your foe ascends higher
