Your lands, only then did they wail

3. Though yearning for glory, your good name
Spread far and wide, by fame set sail

4. Time adorned you the best of high nobles
So you rose in rank without fail

5. O glorious one, the seekers of glory
In times of peace or war set sail

6. The hunter who stalked prey midst the raid
Struck true when the arrows he did trail

7. And when severed were the threads of hope
Forlorn ones only did flail

8. None called to prosperity but that it
Answered the hopeful without fail

9. It bows not to storms, praise cannot shake
Its resolve, lest it bend or curtail

10. Pride of your glory is the star of faith
Leaders all sought to match its trail

11. Blaze of your resolve makes villages glow
People saw its spark lit without fail

12. Clouds of your bounty, though stormy blew
Terrified all when rains they did hail

13. I shun praising you, so generous you are
Lest it diminish your avail

14. When others of lower rank you've graced
With praise quite easy, without travail

15. Since I journeyed from you my praise persists
In prose and verse without fail

16. May you stay blessed in your prime, receiving
God's aid and joy that never curtail
