3. O you who adorns the tender branch with its straightness
And alters the full moon in its perfection and farness from its attainment,

4. The vows have not dissolved what love has tied
The nights pass and passion remains in its state,

5. Bring together a lover, without you passion would not have remembered fervor
And would not have become a yearner for its gazelle,

6. And make your hermitages in the hearts, for they
Suffice you from climbing the painful path and its perils,

7. By Allah, our night at Az-Zawra after
I have stripped the myrtle branch of its cloak,

ุฌูุฑููุฏุชู ุบูุตูู ุงูุจุงูู ู

8. And sipped the coolness of the wind from its wine,
And picked the chains of the radiance from their honey,

9. A fawn like the full moon in its rise
And like the perfection of its crescent and the farness of its attainment,

10. The ample haunches of which did not sway in its walk
Except that the waist complained of its burdens,

11. How is it that he has become one who disgraces his promise
With his achievement and promises with his procrastination,

12. And makes me taste the flavor of boredom through his coquetry

18. Until all the people of love say

19. I sacrifice the gazelle made lawful by his gaze

24. A king accompanied by victory walking on his own

25. A king, of whom the earth says when he walks upon it

27. The sultan of an era whose determination has pleased the people
So his past sufficed him from his future,

For support from his glorious arrival,

29. He pitched tents at the sanctuary so I sufficed
Its waters and its sacrifices like its mountains,

30. He gave generously and abundantly in gifts voluntarily
Until I became weary of his bestowals from his supplies,

31. The turns of fate have submitted when they witnessed
My attachment to his ropes above all people,

Except for my poetry being guided by the virtues of their merits,

40. The sincerity of your patronage has purified the knot of his conscience
So nothing equals his praise of you in his mind,
