A fortress surely strong and bold,

2. Where peace may rest within the heart,
And to the eyes much joy impart.

3. When waters of the plain would fail,
It shows a fount that cannot fail;

4. Its clay-built walls are like the Mount
Named "Sinai," famed in tale and count.
