1. There are people of God on earth
Endowed with honor and justice indeed

2. If they speak, they are truthful and gentle in speech
If called upon, they are judicious and equitable

3. They have full faith in God
And are rightly guided to do good

4. Honor them, O leaders of eminence!
You will find them fair complexioned when asked

5. They are the trusted judges and revered chieftains
Whose tracks are all marked by justice and vigilance

6. Among them is the rightly guided leader
The virtuous and guardian, Saif ibn Malik

7. And our exemplar, the servant of God
Muhammad ibn Ali, the just and stately

8. And our mentor, Rashid, scion of the gallant ancestor
Those are the good leaders fully accomplished

9. We have learned from them the essentials of faith
They spoke the truth without the least falsehood

10. And conveyed to us strange ideas and insights
Free of error and lapse

11. They clarified the proof of ihram unequivocally
With glowing tenets of canon law

12. And they allowed those praying behind or with them
To recite with a vowel, thus deducing what was unknown before

13. So pay heed and respond to the call and celebrate!
And come, ponder over it

14. And honor it, striving to understand it
Inspire hearts that yearned long

15. It being the discourse without interpolation
With scriptural basis, and the origin should be followed

16. Transmitted by eminent and virtuous traditionists
So conform, obey and listen to this word

17. With legal bases in religious law
Abandon discord and blind adoption

18. And devote to God's scripture and endure
God is greatest! Like God knows best are oft repeated

19. In the Quran — they do not move from their places
All flows to its wonted course and habit

20. Till circumstances and causations turn its tide
And God sent down lucid signs

21. With an effulgence like the blazing sun
To compare what resembles them

22. Among the principles ingrained in canon law
No conflict over the Quran among the scholarly

23. As they allow the quiescent letter if separated
Let him then bring the pure white proof explicit

24. From the book sent down to prophets
Or the tradition of the elect best of mankind

25. Our liege, the beloved one, master of both worlds
Or the consensus of the righteous without

26. Dissent among them regarding what connects
Or a book of athar but not unaware

27. Of the imams and their legacy of noble deeds
We submit, obey and accept what he says

28. In his treatise without obstinacy deafening our ears
My Lord has spoken an irrevocable word

29. So come together to examine it and inquire
If you dispute any matter between you

30. Refer it to God, submitting all affairs
Receive the dazzling proofs of the entire religion

31. Like lamps with no shades casting shadows
And suffice yourself with adherence to the Quran

32. As a strong pillar without base controversy
It is enough as a clear proof on earth
