1. O bliss that surpassed all places
With its beauty across all lands

2. It's as if a red ruby
Gleaming in the lands

3. Or a precious jewel that would
Delight you, being the best of possessions

4. Or a melodious, expansive garden
With shaded pastures and meadows

5. Or an ornate bowl decorated beautifully
For the esteemed Ma'soudi

6. Or a radiant, fair maid
With braids and veil

7. Lights shine from
Its boundaries like rays

8. If it were personified
It would be a sweet-natured lord

9. Under it rivers flow
In two unhindered streams

10. A spring called Ain Mink
Beneath it, O excellent refuge

11. Like the blue dome amid
The valleys or citadels

12. So look upon its splendor
Like the sun casting its rays

13. It purifies hearts of evil
And heads of pain

14. Visit it and ask worries to
Leave you, for its water dispels sorrows

15. It’s the one that in summer
Is cool, tempering the heat of the lands

16. O market of the just people you
Are not lacking in bounty

17. It yields fruits for you
From all places without cessation

18. You remain the Muslims' market
As long as you're expansive

19. And your just, supported King
Is lofty and eminent

20. That Imam, the Ya'rubi
Of the Arabs, so capacious

21. Protector of the sanctity of Islam
With strong, piercing blades

22. The honored and respected
His protection and abundant wealth

23. Grandson of Imam Murtada
Our Sultan Sayyid al-Mu'tasim

24. He's the scion of the sword, son of
His hero father, the brave youth
