1. Spend from wealth what you are able
For the spendthrift grows in station and breadth

2. Whoever desires goodness on the morrow, let him give
To the destitute what he has amassed

3. And let him fear God, his Lord, for He is the Creator
And let him learn from what he has heard

4. Like the guardian, our Imam Sir Din
Of generosity, piety and goodness combined

5. You will not find stinginess in his nature
Look and see if any beggar he denied

6. God has increased his wealth and riches
As He has raised every ruler He promoted

7. No poor man you'll find in hardship
Who meets him, except he clothes or aids him
