The north winds have exchanged conversations.

13. After inhabitants and people and spaciousness vanished,
Where the downpour of clouds lingers.

For visiting ruins heals the heart.

And though yearning for it circles me today.

19. A maiden whose face is like the sun and whose night is furnishings,
And whose cheek is like crystal, elegant and intimate.

20. When she sits she flows with tenderness over the ground,
And when she walks, pillars tremble from her gait.

21. And if she faces you, the sky rains with her face,
And the fish in the sea bow down abashed before her.

22. The radiance of her glowing cheek shames the sunlight,
And the threads of her cloak expose the dresses.

23. She prefers in her body the touch of its coldness,
So her clothes and scarves pain her.

24. Her brilliance gleams through her wrappings,
Which cannot conceal her radiant cheeks.

25. She is accustomed to killing lovers, as if
Slaughtering people is an act allied with her kingdom.

26. She is accustomed to bestowing death, the sultan of our swords,
Which for her glory has allies in the wilderness.

27. Clement, who forgives the sinful with his pardon,
So he continues to forgive them as he is gentle.

28. O community of Islam, your imam
Is a pious imam, whom tremors do not rock.

29. So do not despair, whatever sacrilege you commit,
For his noble character has compassion for you.

30. Were it not for him, guidance would collapse and
The mountains of virtues crumble and dissenters gloat.

31. And your world would be afflicted with the tremors of an era,
And those tremors would bury you deeply in humiliation.

32. The pillar of the faith would be shaken and its wall collapse,
And the traces of piety and scriptures vanish.

33. But the prince is a fierce lion, a warrior,
Before whom the caliphs' armies submit.

34. A king who possesses the world, which fears him,
And its dominions and tribes obey him.
