30. And be like them in every situation, do not weary
And leave them be, do not ask after them if they mix

31. And love in moderation, do not be excessive
And hate in moderation, so shade endures for you

32. The best of people are those who restrain hate and passion
And the worst are those whose natures are excessive

33. Do not jest needlessly at every hour
In every place, so you are not scorned by the vile

34. And do not give your secret to every intimate
For many a close friend, his companion is his killer

35. Cover up people's faults with the garment of generosity
Indeed, a person's faults are concealed by generosity

36. Give to kinsfolk what is due, and give people their rights
You will live safely, and words will be followed by action

37. And do not find fault with one who is absent
