1. You have a place in my heart that never changes
And a sincerity of affection that is never troubled

2. And an affection from me whose covenant has endured
And a true friendship that is explained through meetings

3. I have never asked anything from you
Never, and I thought it would be difficult

4. If I was unaware and committed a sin
I am repentant and seeking forgiveness

5. Or if you heard from me other than
What your nature desires, I apologize

6. It is unthinkable that you would spurn a sincere lover
Whose affection for you never changes

7. My covenant with your heart is an inner affection
Yet outwardly shows good manners

8. And if I come to you before this in need
You are not hesitant or difficult

9. And today I do not know for what reason
Our affection for my need is alarmed

10. Since I knew you, my heart has never been troubled
Years have passed and many more

11. I shall not forget your affection as long as I live
Even if a thousand years pass or more

12. I keep my affection for people dear to me
Kind even if they change or alter

13. I do not repay my loved ones with coldness
Even if after purity they rebel

14. And if one comes seeking forgiveness for his sin
O intimate, I forgive him and do not become arrogant

15. The heir of kingdoms, pride and highness
Is the sword of Sultan, the Imam Al-Athar

16. He forgives great sins generously
And forbearance, and he is the Forbearing, the Capable

17. May the blood of the Imam of the Muslims be successful
In every good matter that is not difficult

18. Neither has Waraqa twittered nor has morning breeze blown
Among the branches nor has dove Mooshanfar
