1. Greetings of peace and salutations, a thousand delights
I reserve especially for the sincere, guided one, greeting in peace,

2. Descendant of Khamis bin Al-Safa, the blessed one,
Through whom peace has come to us.

3. My greetings of peace be upon you at all times,
Continuously, that's enough, for the dear friend has become peaceful.

4. We have presented you, O beloved, with seven eulogies,
And you traveled for a time and have now returned in peace.

5. So kindly be generous to us with your bounty,
Quickly, as we present our virtues to you.

6. I ransom you, deliver them, for here is our messenger,
Khamis the pure, who has come to you as a guide.

7. Greet him with a loan to be returned,
While you are innocent, having warded off blames.

8. Far be it from you! Rather, far be it from you to return disappointed!
For you have become an intimate, trusted friend.

9. If you wish something from us, it will be fulfilled,
By God's permission, for He has undertaken the matter.

10. We send you special greetings, a blessed son,
Greetings of peace, drawing nearer and nearer.

11. And I have composed for you, a gift,
That will please you and bring you gains.

12. It will cheer the hearts of lovers as if
A beloved has arrived to his family.

13. It will rest the eyelids of those suffering from separation,
As if with union it rouses one asleep.

14. Pearls are its serving maids for them -
Just as I have become a servant to the sincere son of the Sultan.

15. O my God, bless Ahmad at all times,
The most virtuous of all people.
