1. The whitest garment drapes
Women who still have water within them.
١. نَصولُ بِكُلِّ أَبيَضَ مَشرَفِيٍّ
عَلى اللاتي بَقى فيهِنَّ ماءُ
2. In the evening strangers would choose them over us—
Neither are they ruined, nor do they have coverings.
٢. عَشِيَّةَ تُؤثِرُ الغُرباءُ فينا
فَلا هُم هالِكونَ وَلا رِداءُ
