Between the rows from the vast courtyard

3. God is Great as I enter the state of ihram
And turn my face to my Lord with a humble heart

4. Thanks be to God, peace be upon you
Amen, do not open the door to every deceiver

5. Women have certainly deceived me and plotted against me
And filled my hearing with talk of women

11. A houri, the gazelle is startled when she moans
With alluring eyelids among the perfect ones

ุจุฌููˆู† ุญุดูู ููŠ ุงู„ุฎู…ุงุฆู„ ุฑุงุชุนู

12. She recites the Scripture with melody and eloquence
Inclining the heart of the listener towards the remembrance of God

13. A mouth like evenly spaced pearls
From her lips in its consistent prose

14. Her breath is like perfume whose seal is opened
After being sealed with fine musk

15. Swaying like a moist branch when she walks
Bending with haste that prevents

ู†ุงุกูŽุชู’ ุจุฑุฏูู ู„ู„ุชุนุฌู„ ู…ุงู†ุนู

16. She strides like a strong sand grouse
Dyed, stealing the heart of the humble one

17. And they described to me her beauty and charm
Some of which would suffice as an excuse for the dissenter

18. So I approached after isolation and gained trust
And a heart obeyed that was not easily obeyed

19. And they took me to the guardian and came to me
With the witnesses and the skin of a wide sheep

20. And with a room from Nafeโ€™ - for good omen!
By God Almighty it brings no good omen

21. So they stipulated many conditions for me
That I was not able in my state to consent to

22. Then I left when I realized
That I had tied the strongest knot around my neck for her

23. And they left me one day after promising and told me

25. So I knocked out my teeth right then in regret
That I was deceived with such cunning

ูขูฅ. ูู‚ุฑุนุชู ุณู†ู‘ูŠ ุนู†ุฏูŽ ุฐุงูƒ ู†ุฏุงู…ุฉู‹
ู…ุง ูƒู†ุชู ู„ูˆู„ุง ุฃู† ุฎูุฏุนุช ุจู‚ุงุฑุนู

26. And it obliged me until I left with an appointed time
After the oath until the fourth day

27. If only I had divorced I would have succeeded
And shaken that marriage from my fingers

28. But I was greedy to see the beauty
They falsely described to me so I ruined my hopes

29. So I looked into the matter of the wedding hurriedly
And made a celebration - what a maker!

30. And I hoped the veil would be lifted and I would see her face
And delight my eye with the rising crescent moon

31. But they mentioned to me her family has no custom
Of unveiling the bride - and that is the deception of the deceiver

32. And I thought that what they said was true but it was not
And I attained from it at the point of horror

33. And they took me at night to a house of hers
In a place far from any good - very spacious

34. A dilapidated house in a frightening place
Between ruins, no landmarks visible

ู…ุง ุจูŠู†ูŽ ุขุซุงุฑ ู‡ู†ุงูƒูŽ ุจู„ุงู‚ุนู

35. So I sat in a small dark room
With nothing in it but the mat of the mosque

ูฃูฅ. ูู‚ุนุฏุชู ููŠ ุจูŠุชู ุตุบูŠุฑ ู…ูุธู„ู…
ู„ุง ุดูŠุกูŽ ููŠู‡ ุณูˆู‰ ุญุตูŠุฑ ุงู„ุฌุงู…ุนู

36. Then I heard an unknown sound from my left
And a cough that imitates the croaking of frogs

ูฃูฆ. ูุณู…ุนุชู ุญุณุงู‹ ุนูŽู†ู’ ุดู…ุงู„ูŠ ู…ูู†ูƒุฑุงู‹
ูˆุชู†ุญู†ุญุงู‹ ูŠุญูƒูŠ ู†ู‚ูŠู‚ูŽ ุถูุงุฏุนู

37. So I wanted to escape with myself fleeing
And I leapt at the door, a leap of dread

38. But I met them as they had brought an ember
They returned me and imprisoned me with mosques

ูุฑุฏุฏู†ู†ูŠ ูˆุญุจุณู†ู†ูŠ ุจู…ุฌุงู…ุนู

39. And they entered me into the house and made me sit
So I sat like a docile one on days of turmoil

40. And they gestured towards the sky and told me:

42. โ€œAnd congratulations for the blessing which you have attained
You have certainly obtained blooming gardensโ€

43. So I looked at my fiancรฉe closely
And I found her veiled with coverings

44. And I approached her wanting to remove her veil
But she defended herself seriously and prevented me

45. So I overpowered her and uncovered
Her brow by force like a wrestling champion

Struck on her head with a bludgeon

47. Cross-eyed, she looks at her horn in her leg
Imagining herself standing amazed in the street

48. So I found her with a snub nose, and she claims

You would see the walk of a limping or blinker

52. So I faced her and started spitting at her
And fleeing into darkness and pouring rain

53. Lost, running in the alley as if I were
A thief who sensed a pursuer or follower

54. Until when dawn broke and they opened
The city gate, I was the first fleer
