1. With my Lord's mercy I hope for kinship's sanctity
So I draw near with it to the master of non-Arabs and Arabs

2. The hand of yearning has tied me, how not?
While its abode is in the East and mine is in the West

3. Its proofs in everything have become clear to me
And whoever resisted its tide turns to blame and beating

4. Its innocence showed its glory when it proclaimed
To its enemies, after innocence, war

5. God of creation made it a light embodied
So it may encounter the world of spirit and dust

6. It is the ascent of those whom He chose
From creation, named them, and drew them near

7. The skill of that beauty calls me when it appears
Above every soil and truly

8. The coolness of the dawn's eyes seeing its face
Its vision heals the heart from distress

9. I came out seeking my Creator's mercy
Maybe a shower from it will rain on the rests

10. The lightnings of life revived and gave life to my senses
So I said to the caravan leader, take me with the flock
