1. Your heart yearns for Muhammad
So listen to the conquest of Mecca to find solace

2. The heights of glory were combined in the conquest of Mecca
And none who conquered it feared enemies

3. Al-Rabi' killed Al-Khuza'i among them
And supported the Banu Bakr, not fearing death

4. So Allah's Messenger marched with the army towards them
And Allah concealed the march and hid it

5. When their fires appeared, one said:
"This is Khuza'ah," his companion replied: "Nonsense!

6. The Khuza'is are too lowly in the land
And too small to fill our land densely"

7. So Al-'Abbas called to them: "Woe to you!
This is Allah's Messenger with the army already on the march!"

8. As for Budayl, he turned away to warn them
While Abu Sufyan submitted and sought pardon

9. So Al-'Abbas gave him a mount and brought him
Frightened of sin or hoping for grace

10. Al-Mukhtar honored him with bounty and favor
And he submitted when he found no other recourse

11. So Al-'Abbas stood with him as the army gathered
The horsemen arranged in rows, rank after rank

12. All those tribes passed by him
With their standards, as the earth quaked

13. Squadron after squadron of Sulaym and others
When a thousand passed, he saw a thousand more

14. When those tribes finished passing, his green battalion approached
Arranged in rows, rank upon rank

15. Horsemen in armor, all armored
You see only the gleam of armor and blades

16. He said: “And who is this?” It was said: “Muhammad
And his companions,” and he was shaken by the march

17. Al-Mukhtar gave him and all the people safety
And advanced him with pardon for all he pardoned

18. He brought them safety, then the armies
Of Allah's Messenger and the dense army approached

19. The family of Mansur provides support
If you describe his signs, they surpass description

20. The opening letters Ya Sin and Nun are aids
With his praises, and poetry comes with what is hidden
