1. The shadows of hopes and safety took shade
In Ahmad, the best of creation, while all were perplexed

2. The darkness of servants' darknesses was illuminated by his light
And vanished by the embrace that restrains wrath

3. We took shade in him after being lost, into guidance
And by him were awakened those eminent souls

4. Their darknesses disappeared by his justice, while their tears dried
And justice becomes wrathful at injustice

5. The unjust oppressor wanders around like the lost
And his flaming actions burn and provoke

6. A cowardly oppressor who whistles due to his cowardice
Going along with spirits, while the soul triumphs

7. I missed your guidance, protector, you did not visit
Your messenger - what are these coarse natures?

8. A perfidious one in the furthest west, whose eyelids grew weary
And passions subsided, while passions remain alert

9. You have wronged yourself, by God's life - how much longer
Will you provoke it, while it is wronged and irritated?
