When despair overcomes, there is laziness.

But by God, most of them have no merit!

53. His birth was surely a mercy,
With which we were quenched, all regions and hills.

And harmed him severely, but he endured.

Along with Uqbah and Al-Nadr, people of debate.

And though they came to him in intense fear,

Confusion would not have helped them.

90. Shortly, the winds of victory blew
To cool its edges with moisture,

91. And the call was made so the steadfast lightened
And the call passed so necks leaned forward,

And crowded into the chests of lions.

93. They flew at him with the meteors of spears
Like winds blowing flames.

94. The crowds prevented them and they threw
Their swords and broke their weapons.

95. How many riders left their rides
And how many armed left their weapons!

97. As if a herd glance at the land
And see a pack of partridges.

98. They fled through it like winds blowing ashes
Till what remained settled beneath the smoke.

99. Gabriel came in a stroke
Striking their faces from the front.

100. Armies with whom the Muslims gained victory
And by evening their enemy was abandoned.

And their money to the spoils there.

103. His army roamed their homes
And dispersed them in the threshing floors.

104. They spent the night while the sword
Satiated itself on their tails where it sat.

105. And the religion of truth appeared victorious
Stirring the dust with the train of its bouquet.

106. Afterwards, they came in reform
And hoped in him, attaining hope.

107. He returned their children to them
But for the swords, he would have returned the camels.

108. So he was gentle, kind, merciful,
Generous, saying and then doing.

109. Pardoning when they sinned, affectionate
When they cut ties, always benevolent, never tiring.

ูƒุฑูŠู… ุฅุฐุง ู‚ุงู„ ู‚ูˆู„ุงู‹ ูุนู„

110. Open-handed, trivial to him
Were thousands when it came to giving and sacrifice.

111. He does not debate the false claimant
Nor fight whoever fights him.

112. How many expeditions he organized
Which Allah used to disgrace the misguided!

113. As for the Jews, their harm did not wane
Nor were their tricks cut short.

114. So he brought down Bani Qinaqa
Their settlements, and they were evilest place.

ุฃุฐุงู‡ ูˆู„ุง ู‚ุตู‘ุฑุช ููŠ ุญูŠู„

115. He exiled them so they lived in security
Due to their mediator who was awaited.

ุจู‚ุงุน ูˆูƒุงู†ูˆุง ุจุฃุณู†ู‰ ู…ุญู„

116. As for Nadir, their faces had no light,
A folk of scheming and wickedness.

ู„ุฃุฌู„ ุดููŠุนู‡ู… ุงู„ู…ู‚ุชุจู„

117. They conspired to kill him decisively
So he punished them after long patience.

ูˆุฌูˆู‡ูู‡ู… ุฃู‡ู„ ูƒูŠู’ุฏู ูˆุบูู„

118. He brought them down from their strongholds
And disturbed them in humiliation and disgrace.

119. As for Qurayza, the affliction befell them
And the decree was due upon them.

ูˆุฃุฒุนุฌู‡ู… ููŠ ู‡ูˆุงู†ู ูˆุฐูู„

120. Because they incited the polytheists against him
So they tightened their saddles against him.

ูกูขู . ูˆุจุงู„ู‚ุฑุธูŠูŠู† ุญู„ู‘ูŽ ุงู„ุจู„ุงุกู
ูˆุญู‚ู‘ ุจู‡ู… ุญูŠู†ู‡ุง ุฃู† ูŠุญู„

121. They came to war because of that
Overcoming adversity and overcoming trails.

ูกูขูก. ู„ุฃู†ู‡ู… ุฃู„ู‘ุจูˆุง ุงู„ู…ุดุฑูƒูŠู†
ุนู„ูŠู‡ ูุดุฏู‘ูˆุง ุฅู„ูŠู‡ ุงู„ุฑุญู„

122. So Allah separated them after they gathered
And scattered their gathering that celebrated.

ู„ูƒ ููˆู‚ูŽ ุงู„ุตุนุงุจ ูˆููˆู‚ ุงู„ุฐู„ู„

123. He punished Qurayza with the sword, not leaving
Any man among them who had saddled.

124. The stories of Khaybar are well known
And I am knowledgeable about them if you ask.

125. He took charge of their firm siege
So a knot befell them that did not undo.

ูˆุฅู†ูŠ ุฎุจูŠุฑ ุจู‡ุง ุฅู† ุชุณู„

126. They said โ€œwe accept to be your workers
And not move away.โ€

ูุญู„ู‘ุช ุจู‡ู… ุนู‚ุฏุฉ ู„ู… ุชุญู„

127. After this, his face turned
To Mecca as he was busy with them.

ู„ูƒู… ุนุงู…ู„ูˆู† ูˆู„ุง ู†ู†ุชู‚ู„

128. Polytheism obeyed him submissively like a bowl
And the Jews to him became like servants.

ู„ู…ูƒุฉ ุงุฐ ูƒุงู† ููŠู‡ู… ุดูุบู„

129. Your Lord fulfilled His promise
And the religion of truth was completed.

ูˆุตุงุฑุชู’ ูŠู‡ูˆุฏูŒ ู„ู‡ ูƒุงู„ุฎูˆู„

130. No association remained in the land by covenant
Apart from the sword or compliant tradition.

ูกูฃู . ูˆุฃู†ุฌุฒ ุฑุจููƒ ู…ูŠุนุงุฏูŽู‡
ูˆุฃุตุจุญูŽ ุฏูŠู†ู ุงู„ู‡ุฏู‰ ู‚ุฏ ูƒู…ู„

131. He conveyed from His Lord warning
And detailed the understanding in those phrases.

ูกูฃูก. ูˆู„ู… ูŠุจู‚ูŽ ููŠ ุงู„ุฃุฑุถู ุดุฑูƒ ุจุนู‡ุฏ
ุณูˆู‰ ุงู„ุณูŠู ุฃูˆ ุณู†ุฉู ุชู…ุชุซู„

132. No argument remained for people
Against the one God exalted and majestic.

ูกูฃูข. ูˆุจู„ู‘ุบ ุนู† ุฑุจู‘ู‡ ู…ูู†ุฐุฑุงู‹
ูˆูุตู‘ู„ ู„ู„ูู‡ู… ุชู„ูƒ ุงู„ุฌู…ู„

133. So then, his Lord singled him out
By giving him the choice of departure or stay.

ุนู„ู‰ ู…ู† ุจุฑุงู‡ู… ุชุนุงู„ู‰ ูˆุฌู„

134. He did not choose but the highest companion
And did not lean except to the greatest grace.

135. Oh what sorrow, the arm sorrowed
And struggled against patience until it twisted!
