1. The attributes of the Messenger were unmatched in a person
And was perfection without flaw ever seen in a person?

2. A pure, generous one whom Allah brought near
And conversed with him while awake in intimate conversation

3. Truthful and trustworthy in youth and old age
Pious, pure of heart, body, and garment

4. Patient throughout the long struggle, steadfast
Upon righteousness and piety, firm against adversity

5. His wind blew in every battle so his army
Victorious for all time against every obstinate foe

6. Forgiving of the one who wrongs him, surely
His punishment of a person for harming a person

7. Truthful to the tribe of Banu Lihyan, he ordered their invasion
And crucified the wicked upon the stump atop Duss

8. His horses seemed burdensome to them, so they resisted
But he returned when the shirt chafed against the shoulder

9. After that, his cavaliers brought
To Dhi Qurad, exhausting stealthily the thief

10. His swords flashed before the eye of Uyaynah
So he emptied the settlements, then turned without loss

11. The chests of people are filled and their eyes
With that pure, splendid lineage and origin

12. His scriptures are folded and his blade
Is light for whoever listens and fire for whoever disobeys

13. A morning, but whenever its light shines
The lack of light in bleary eyes becomes evident

14. A straight path paved
For the servants, the steps of resolve depend on it

15. His companions traveled his path of justice
And walked in his tracks, closely following

16. Fasting, praying without laziness or forgetfulness
Zealous for the Most High and truthfulness in earnestness

17. I have turned my reigns to praise the Messenger and his companions
So I will praise as long as I live and cannot be counted

18. I have proclaimed my love from distant lands
And flapped my wings in my den, feathers complete

19. My loved ones' homelands have cleared for me, they have cooled
My ardors with a draught if possible or sipped

20. I resisted while the valley of Al-‘Aqeeq gleamed before me
For none but it will push away my echo and investigate it
