1. You are called the bestower of blessings, O Mun'im,
When the time is unkind, we seek refuge in you,

2. You excel in giving freely and generously,
O most verdant of the world, unparalleled company,

3. When tribulations thicken and life grows bleak,
You are the full moon, a rain-bearing cloud,

4. You are the gentle, aromatic breeze,
That revives the poor with your kindness,

5. You who made our affairs easy,
With your generosity, once so difficult and arduous,

6. You are like honey's sweetness on a dewy day,
Sweet, and bitter on the day of war,

7. You are the experienced elder who gathers friends,
With mighty hands and generous character,

8. You share water with the attainers, immerse in generosity,
And pardon the sinner, pure of conscience,

9. O you whose youthful opinion is awe-inspiring,
Each day a day of pouring rain,

10. Mocking the spear when brandished,
And overpowering the hissing sword,

11. O pillar of religion, minister so eminent,
That the hand glows and the throne glitters,

12. You have many guests and swords together,
For this you are cherished, so why would you change?

13. Good tidings herald your wishes fulfilled,
And the fame of your glory, more and more,

14. O breaker of the tyrant, if he transgresses,
And vanquisher of the massive and firm,

15. From your fine traits are gardens made beautiful,
And from your bounty the clearest river,

16. Your rain speaks truly in praise,
A right hand neither excessive nor borrowed,

17. As if I lived a transient year
In the shade of your blessings, a short day,

18. Your generosity has truly become a right,
For the abundant good you bestow on me,

19. You remain, your kingdom enduring,
As the mountains firmly fixed in the earth,

20. And you remain, O best of men, challenging
Us to virtuous deeds, among us most able,

21. The rain cloud has not unburdened its heaviness,
Nor has the night’s darkness unveiled the brilliant dawn.
