1. Your swords have become keys to fortresses
You attack the deceitful and make the advisor happy

2. O leader of free horses with gray hair
Swimming bareback and I am swimming bare

3. And the narrow land became spacious
As an ocean, blocking plains and dunes

4. The Hashimite state supported you, O its sun
With opinion you count it the shining shooting star

5. And you attacked it with spears
And hid with the spear the thick spear bearer

6. And your father did not unsheathe white swords
Unless you were thereafter the reconciler

7. O son of the obeyed, the exalted
Who defeated their enemies and silenced the praiser

8. A people who became generous
And in the darkness of sermons, illuminating lamps

9. Pillars of patience that remained swinging
And oceans of knowledge that kept overflowing

10. I hoped for the generosity of the exalted from God
Generously and approached the fleeing hope

11. O beauty of the brutish time, you have exalted
The lowly with a more beautiful and glowing face

12. You calmed my hopes though frothing
And were pleased with my passionate praise

13. And turned worldly tribulations from me so I never found
A day when the turns of fate were greatly detrimental

14. And I tasted from your hands, O my satisfier
For gentleness and kindness, a widely known gentleness

15. So I thank the relief of your blessings
Which poured and made the reliefs clearly manifest

16. And I dedicate to you, O first of the exalted
And glory, the first fruits of fervent praise

17. So may your given hand, O gift of God, redeem me
A company who cannot equal your pouring hands

18. The assistants and wrestlers among them
Become assistants and wrestlers when we meet

19. You have made me needless of worrying care
And inundated me with favors that favour me with favors

20. I have profited from praising you, O Abu Al-Fadl
Who surpassed mankind in generosity and so became the winner

21. O best of those who folded the mounts towards him
And traveled to him politically, speaking privately

22. I swore I never saw a deficient day
Unless I saw you turn it sound

23. If the days had not boasted of you as king
No heart would have rested comforted

24. You remained eternal
And no bird flew in Yemen unless outstretched

25. The glory of religion surrendered to you defeating the envious
And making the insolent concede and silencing the dissenter
