King Solomon son of David

4. O knight of the white and brown steed
Wrongdoing is fuel for punishment

5. How majestic you are in times of calamity
Witnessed by the brave among the brave

6. You appear ready to pounce
Like a fierce lion on its prey

7. Unsheathing your sword to slay the enemies
With unwavering resolve and determination

8. And how many brethren in need
Whose poverty you relieve

9. With your endless generosity when
Your sky of blessings pours forth

10. O Abu Al-Fadl whose virtue
Is matchless across the land

11. O most honorable and truthful of men
Keeper of his promise

12. Pleasant is the fragrance of your integrity that
We have come to expect and rely on

13. O peerless in your generosity my praise of you
And gratitude are like my creed

14. And the Najdi hero who has always
Relieved affliction and desperation

15. My poems have reached you, O intimate friend
And were received as I intended

16. My glory was lifted through your religious virtue
After living ingloriously for some time

17. With glory in every matter from us
The reins of leadership are handed to you

18. Opener of the doors of generosity so generosity
Finds open doors never shut

19. O hunter of my gratitude with your kindness
And son of the honorable masters

20. You gathered praise and dispersed
Whatever God wished you to disperse

21. I hear praise that words for it
Are more intoxicating than grape juice

22. Fairer than a rose's blush
On the cheek of a lovely gazelle

23. You remain lofty up the heights
Dressed in seamless attire
