1. A heart pained with pain,
And tears whose blood is endless,

2. And passion whose flames burnt,
Blazing between my ribs.

3. It tortures me with longing,
The alluring one with the charming smile,

4. My body and his slender waist,
Conspiring together against my health.

5. I am anxious for the darkness of his absence,
Which he helped until it darkened,

6. O you who deserted me for an era,
Without crime, without crime,

7. I spend the night sleepless,
With eyes that have not slept.

8. And indeed I inclined toward passion
And was content with whatever it ruled.

9. And I stood in those meadows with love,
As it was ordained.

10. Say to the morning breeze “Greet
The girls of Banat Sala’ and peace.”

11. And let it know of my extreme youth
And passion in place of knowledge.

12. And indeed I say to the blameworthy,
“Don armor against injustice.”

13. Don the steel coats of mail,
Do not complain of the touch of arrows.

14. It hid the thorn bushes and returned them
As ghosts though they had been hidden.

15. My pillars, the son of Muhammad,
Take the gifts from the nations

16. Scent the palm of his hand
And bring down rain from those clouds,

17. You will find him gentle in nature
Though the worries fell.

18. A king whose glory is endless
And glory made the worries fall.

19. His money is good grace
And his word forever "yes."

20. Reunion spends generosity
When the stingy one disdains it.

21. So for you are glory and edifices
To destroy the foundations of the tyrant.

22. And for you pardoned the sinner
Out of generosity though he could punish.

23. One whose requester is torn apart,
Degrades praise though its price is high.

24. And when the day of calamity roars
The sea of death and destruction,

25. And I see the whites of his swords
Reddened with the blood of oaths,

26. And hear the words of his warriors
In their ferocity, be ferocious, comrade,

27. Like lions when they carry
Their bravest above them,

28. I found in their excitement
One progressing, steady of foot.

29. In you, O Bahauddin, the thousand
United my fortune and became orderly.

30. By the one whose nature
Pleased it like a meadow pleased the shooting star,

31. And attributes for you like poison
When the north wind blows it.

32. O you in whom I found wealth,
O you in whom I found nonexistence.

33. The creation from clay
And you alone from generosity.

34. Good fortune to your neighbor, for he is
Safe from the injustice of nights in sanctuary.

35. Happiest with your absence, so stay away from me
As long as a star shone or shines.

36. And destroy your enemies, for they
Are more deserving of it than blessings.
