1. Since the day we parted, tomorrow,
I have been perplexed, unable to be patient,

2. Pretending not to feel the pain I'm suffering,
Though my tears bear the truest witness.

3. I yearn for the skies, sighing
In hopes of relief, alleviating my sorrow.

4. O lofty home, none can match
Your majesty and glory, my pillar and support.

5. In you was a joy unlike any other,
My eyes will see nothing like it again.

6. Days that revived my youth but killed me
With glances unafraid of fiery passion.

7. Agitated like a flowing stream
Stirred by spirits, restless and roaming.

8. As if those who smile in it
Have stolen lightning and hail from the clouds.

9. Like a doe, shy yet daring,
That hunts the lion without fear.

10. I reproached it while the dew dripped
Like my tears when shadows grow cold.

And the wind dons its alert armor.

14. Oh companion, sail gently through comfort
Let my poetry adorn your cup with foam.

15. Blushing, it showers the guide with red blossoms
Like roses, cheeks, and poppies.

16. And fiercely battles nothingness for me
Continuously crying "Arise! Work hard!

17. Sit among the seekers of abundance, striving,
While the indifferent miss their chance for bounty."

18. So I answered, "I'll not abandon as an exile
The life I've known in my homeland.

19. Shall I leave a country that gave me
The splendor of faith and bound me in shackles?

20. A realm that will be, tomorrow, majestic with glory,
Singular in its entirety and oneness.

21. With a noble page when dew drops fall
And a crimson page when blood is spilled.

22. How often, from its valor, aspirations fell short,
Yet it came through, just as expected.

23. Generous people give boundlessly,
Not sparing their charity when asked.

24. Brave warriors spare not their souls
When proven, granting wishes when found.

25. They fault not those who seek them out,
And pardon those who envy them.

26. Their gifts outnumber pebbles and sand-
Who can count gifts so plenty?"

27. Forgetting threats, never expecting
To forget the promises made.

28. Whenever a monster threatened havoc,
Its youth were there to watch and defend.

29. If not for the glow of its noble souls,
The spirits of generosity and virtue would not settle.

30. So generosity exists for those who seek it
While stinginess is absent, never found.

31. Give life, Abu Al-Fadl Al-Jawad, my brother,
That eras may be spent in your glory.

32. With manners, when created, that adorn
Our new days, burnished and gleaming.

33. Live as you wish, a pleasant and comfortable life,
Under the barren month's shadow.

34. O most generous of all,
Without exception or exclusion.

35. You have striven until leaving no effort,
Giving openly, without restraint or stint.

36. Turning away those who blame your charity,
And coming to the aid of those who seek it.

37. May my Lord keep you for me, always,
And keep your pillar standing tall.
