1. Is there a way to the people of Al-Ghuwayr
And is there a resting place in the shadows of Al-Ghuwayr

2. Indeed, my standing between aspirations has been long
And my standing among aspirations is long

3. Sa'd, my friend, blamed me for love
And did not know that I am a loyal friend to love

4. How different between one whose heart's beloved left yesterday
And one who was wronged by a day of separation

5. Sorrow for my stay in Al-Ghadha is enough
And its inhabitants have had misfortunes

6. My longing sighs in the gentle breeze
My body is sick and the breeze is sick

7. And I cry out to the scattered distance between us
Take me away, for the Lord of the Worlds grants rest

8. If Zainab is stingy to me with union
The abundant generosity of Abu Bakr is upon me

9. And that Al-Suhaili Al-Walidi is the best of those
Whose palm attains glory and gives

10. Beautiful is Al-Muhayya in manners and character
Honorable and the neighbor of most is disgraced

11. The light of tongues prevents him from his right
So one with indignity cannot reach him

12. He lends a hand - counselor of the faith - and has not ceased to show
For those hands the path of integrity

13. And he seeks as he sought and builds like his glory built
Yes, and he respects wherever respect is due

14. And if the lineages of some people are hidden
He is like the sun, no guide to him is needed

15. If the feast of Fitr has come visiting
Then grace and acceptance have visited you in it

16. And you continue to spend it and multiples more
In glory undiminished by days
