1. O my neighbor, I see you broke your promise
And forgot those occasions and helping hands

2. And I was surprised by you, I saw your heart so harsh
While charm still emits from your cheeks

3. There was nothing between me and you all
You were my loved ones, now you turned backs

4. I will destroy the fodder of every lowland
That winds around Al-Alanda and Al-Jal'ada

5. And I will send a message to Zabid
That folds the records, nay, shakes the mountains

6. O Victorious King, my soul is your ransom
And your enviers have only loyalty to you

7. Do not pity the nomads, they are no nomads
They thought the matter was neglected vainly

8. By Allah, their oaths did not benefit them
They left your palaces in the cities destroyed

9. No reinforcement comes, nor the infantry, and whoever
Comes seeking finds horses stationed

10. As for the farmers, they strayed their camels
No one remained to saddle a camel

11. And so are the archers, no camel remained for them
That the guide rides to you when called

12. There is none left but the Sword of Pride, he
Did not betray your covenant since knowing you, nor transgressed

13. Except Ali, staunch there, and he
Was determined with advice and dressed for battle

14. And so is Al-Qubaiee, from Ghafiq
Ali is the most pious, blessed birth

15. And Ahmad ad-Dahhee and his people
By Allah, I did not waste your servant Ahmad

16. There is no one left but these three masters
And the others betrayed your promise

17. As for the wicked Wataweet, his nursing
Corrupted the state of King Muzaffar

18. He sought fiefs and his colors were
Of a fleeing rat, smelling his loaf, sighing

19. And so did Ibn Isa and Al-Qaseer respond to him
And hold a banner that will collapse

20. And the boy of Hashish, when his love subsided
Swore to destroy the reinforcement yesterday

21. Worthless is the gecko, the cheat, the value
Of Hashish when it lit the kindling

22. Drive them to Al-Abaah Plain wretchedly
And make them morn before dawn breaks

23. Break your swords, nay, throw your spears at them
Leave no intellectual or composer

24. Zabid attained joy from your meeting
And those who sought sedition came to you bound

25. Your father Muzaffar the Fortunate
You appeared more blessed than your father

26. If you honor the noble, you own him
And if you honor the wicked, he rebels
