1. I call upon you as my tears flow down,
And embers of sorrow blaze in my ribs,

2. And say, O people of glory and honor,
Do not deny me, though friendships do deny.

3. Is not your abode, and my abode in Hima,
And we have a shelter that's flawless and pegged?

4. I am truly your brother, a branch of you,
Our lineage and roots are one and the same.

My flesh is your flesh, my blood your blood,

6. For your love I live, and with it resurrected.
Why do you shun me, when I never shunned you,

7. Why am I abandoned, when I never abandoned?
A palm won't deny the hand that's its root,

8. An eye won't be harsh to the eyelid above.
God, Lord of the Throne, knows fully well

9. That my love for you all is true and sincere.
When all friends change in their affection,

10. I'm still as I was, this I swear.
Who can inform all the tribes wherever

11. They settled, and those who in darkness lurk,
That noble Abu Suhail is our protector

12. From every misfortune and ill we dread.
Long live Abu Bakr Suhail and the rest,

13. But Abu Bakr is the greatest and best.
Through him wounds were healed and ruin mended,

14. Without him no repair could be made.
The tribes all flock to it for refuge,

15. He facilitates all affairs once hard.
He cares for all people, loving and kind,
