1. If I say that love for you is renewed
And that passion returned to you as it began

2. While you, my loved ones, in contentment or anger
Do not treat me as enemies would treat

3. Peace be upon your days, how sweet they were
And how delightful to my soul, I wish no ransom for you

4. O you who come for water from the valley of Rama
Have not my tears quenched your thirst enough?

5. O you who live in my heart, how could you live
When in it is a fire of longing blazing?

6. We disobeyed those of you who blamed us
So do not listen to any who accuse or envy us

7. Happy and blessed is your sleep
While I have a longing ever-waking and resting

8. When will the world allow me near your tombs?
When will the days reunite what is scattered?

9. I speak to myself of you at all times
And ask about you all who depart or return

10. O you who travel the ends of the lands, carry
A greeting to illuminate the vast wilderness

11. If you come to the singular mosque, kiss
Its earth and say my soul is its ransom

12. And meet a beloved, then kiss the fingers
Of Ahmed, may God keep alive Ahmed's features

13. He is the Imam of knowledge and the flag with which
God guided those He guided in the wilds

14. He whose fair forehead were it not for
The path of guidance would be dark

15. He is the revolving star, collected splendor
By whom one is guided in the path of knowledge and religion

16. He has a sanctuary God has ennobled
Where no enemy or envier can touch

17. Whoever visits him sleeps in a garden of Paradise
So the pilgrim to that plain will not fail his quest

18. O God's proof who is an exemplar
For those who do not see the pure Prophet Muhammad

19. Upon his blessed face are all greetings
Blessed, whenever foliage rustled and birds chirped

20. If the substitutes and the foremost nobles
Are counted by knowledge and forbearance, Ahmed would be peerless

21. And if the masters are praised one day for their deeds
We see Abu Al-Abbas Ahmed most praised

22. Your companion fears nothing though I have not
Ceased to be your companion, binding fast to your hand

23. It is not only for today I hope in you
But also for tomorrow and all days to come

24. That I may attain through your rank exaltation in this world
And find you in the next glorified and victorious

25. Will you be pleased that I am your servant?
For by God, I am pleased with you as master

26. Tell me you have granted all requests
And that you are safe from decline through me

27. May He who made you perfect for creation keep you so
And He who gave you life for knowledge and guidance revive you
