1. More deserving is he who fulfilled his promise,
God's Caliph over His creation,

2. And he who inherited the legacy of the Prophet of guidance,
With truth his right cannot be denied,

3. He is attributed with guidance to his guidance,
With righteousness and truthfulness to his truthfulness,

4. And he to whom obedience is obligatory,
Evident in the revelation on its pages,

5. The seamless seal, the mighty cleft,
Which people cannot mend its tear.
