1. The youth have turned away from virtue
And accused moral laws of defects

2. Refusing advice, following
Their passions into darkness

3. Alas for youth misled by desire!
For in desire lies misjudgment

4. They have abandoned righteousness
Crowding the paths of error

5. Where is the youth and his awareness?
His vigor, however resolute?

6. Where is the rightly-guided youth?
I cried out to him but he answered not

7. Take a stand, O youth, for guidance
Straying surely encompasses you

8. Religion is your protection
Banishing passions that corrupt

9. Turn to it, repenting
Incline to it before regret

10. Who supposes religion to be
The ruin of souls is deluded

11. Bliss weeps in despair
Thinking its meaning lost

12. Bliss lies in the fortress of
Unshakable faith

13. Bliss is the blessing of
Islam, best of blessings

14. Embrace it, for it
Brings joy to nations
