1. O Nahda Club of Blida, none but you is of matchless virtue,
Good tidings upon good tidings are brought to you,

2. I sensed the blessed club to be a paradise,
Where breaths and tastes are delighted,

3. Your club is a horizon, you are its full moon and stars,
Beware of any who fail you, for they are doomed!

4. Say to the preacher through it you called and I dutifully responded,
And lent you my ears and visions.

5. O Nahda club, you contain its birds and water,
Listen to it and its water is pure,

6. Illuminate through it the drabness, for it is a lighthouse,
And ascend through it the greenness, for it is radiant,

7. And gather through it all comrades, for it is
A shelter for comrades from comrades a corridor.

8. O club’s youth and its intimate circle,
Who hastened to it with hearts and endured,

9. Cure through it the illness of passion like a health center,
In which is a remedy for every ailment,

10. And protect through it morals from their corruption,
To magnify for you in righteous deeds the Creator,

11. Seek the ways and tread them rightly,
With the intellect for it is its leading guide,

12. Unburden through it the necks of their shackles,
For long have shackles seated the necks,

13. And upon you is the Quran, for it from passions,
Is a protector, and not like its light, radiance,

14. And donating to deeds is hitting the nail on the head,
So cover through it deeds, for it is a coat of mail,

15. Its construction was granted by the hands of benefactors,
To whom heads bowed down and necks submitted,

16. Do not let ideas weaken from their livelihoods,
Until they know alongside them livelihoods,

17. O people, your commoners are surrounded by harm,
And ignorance and vices have spread among them,

18. And illusion nested in the heads so they bowed down,
And illusion, its affliction is incurable,

19. The inanimate spoke so horizons shook,
And waved with its discourse the firmaments,

20. The Algerians are determined to the tombs,
As if I saw them in the morning awakened,

21. And resumed a serious renaissance,
Which neither weakness nor failure reaches,

22. The clubs and schools took root among them,
Principles upon which morals were built.

23. O lightning rain even if among us you were scarce,
O pouring rain do not stint your downpour,

24. And from the beginning to the end you inform,
And promise the branches they are roots,

25. O people, is there among you a striver,
Through it to join the winners and attain,

26. O people, do not repel resources in isolation,
And from laziness upon minds a barrier,

27. Unbind the selves from ignorance and passions,
And illusions for they are tight shackles upon selves.

28. O club youths, greetings of a comrade,
From you like flashes of smiling comrades,

29. And a behest to you to unite,
And hasten in good for it is a race,

30. I bid you farewell to goodness, Nahda Club,
Through it reap life’s opportunities and meet,

31. May its chambers and hospitality for your guest,
Remain an inn, and may its age be immortalized by the Creator.
