And heard what clears deafness

6. And entered your shade seeking refuge
And prosperity from nations

7. So I called the signs of guidance through it
To the messengers of resolve

8. From an appearance that pleases the eyes
And a source that satisfies virtues

9. And I came to the field of tongues with it
And the field of the pen

10. So I disappointed in the battle of generations
An enemy I inflicted from old

11. O delegation you avoided hostilities, troubles and crises
Algeria hopes for reconciliation and you are its ruler

12. Or you do not see its age
Like a furnace spewing embers

13. Or you do not see what befalls Algeria of torment
I fear the generations will indict you among them with accusations

14. I fear for your softness that its oppression will say among the unjust
I fear for your calmness that you will be called upon in cities and tents

15. O shepherd, while the sheep are under the wolf between a hand and mouth
O delegation you are tying knowledge so break through

16. O delegation do not sleep nights in your tying, do not sleep
I find knowledge is the scales of values in the world

17. And the pillars of glory and greatness for Islam
The religion of gentleness in surplus and justice in division

18. The religion of legislating righteousness and fulfilling promises
The religion of kindness and guidance and virtues and integrity

19. So protect it from all harm
Like mothers protect their infants

20. And raise it guided
Like a lighthouse raises knowledge

21. And be sincere for it is the elixir of services
Repel evil intentions openly and stamp them underfoot

22. And if you are called to integrity do not say why and what for me?
Act as the righteous men acted tirelessly

23. And recognize the great right of your nation among the nations
Send through it the resolve of souls and turn their summits

24. The resolve of souls is the life of your people so weep for those who lost resolve
And glory is hoped for by all and the early ones from time immemorial

25. O pride your mention is in my mouth
And your love etched in my heart

26. O pride the existence is yours and the breaths sanctified you
I swear by your pride in life and it is the pride of oaths

27. The best of existence and you are far from the evil of nonexistence
O people prolonged has been our humiliation and the vultures' talons afflicted us

28. And our souls have become fearful even of flies when they buzz
Fear of people is associating them with their Creator and their arrival an idol

29. They hastened to glory and left humiliation to the servants
Do not despair for God, majestic is His majesty, reviver of ruins

30. Protector of the guided with His might and rewarder of them, the Abode of Generosity
O delegation, you attained acceptance and avoided regret in the future

31. You continue to rise in Algeria like stars in the darkness
And showers of mercy and blessings are upon you

32. And you have guidance for with guidance a man began and with it concluded
