1. I hold fast to Muhammad,
And with his character I adorn myself,

2. And over all people
In love for him I prevail.

3. My soul, young forever,
Is always aflame with love for him,

4. And my heart is impassioned,
My tears flowing.

5. What care have I for the games
That choose for me and arrange,

6. When holding fast to the Messenger
And his religion suits me more?

7. I am a Muslim who loves guidance,
With none other do I become fulfilled.

8. With the traits of Ahmed I clothe myself,
And with love for him I strengthen myself.

9. In a month like this, no
Sorrows can tarnish its radiance.

10. Today tongues of the world
Announce the good tidings.

11. So freshness fills existence,
Eyes brim and glow.

12. No day nobler than the one
Of the Messenger's night journey.

13. Greetings to the month that
Captivates hearts and dazzles sights.

14. Since I've been absent from you
I've pined from the fever of passion.

15. I know the Prophet Muhammad
Is insulted by you and torn apart.

16. I still love him and will never
Break my covenant to him.

17. O best of those whose care
The rightly guided vie for and embrace.

18. Your remembrance is the highest
Of the eternal remembrances I treasure.

19. I am the quickest of the youths
In what you approve and precede in.

20. Your soldier who raids by your command
The day your regiments march forth.

21. I swear by your Lord I
Will never distinguish between Him and another.

22. I am steadfast upon the clear path
Not slipping or straying.

23. I will not divert from it even if
I must enter Hell and be hanged.

24. It is the religion that effaces
Doubts of hearts and overcomes them.

25. The mind from it gains
Knowledge and is provided understanding.

26. I spent my time in its guidance
Wherein the finest gems are spent.

27. I taste the Quran, the spirit's
Power ― what a taste I taste!

28. I recite the Book as true,
The Book indeed is true.

29. No journey is richer than it
In diverse knowledges and deeper.

30. Why wouldn't I persist in its study
When I am keen and clever?

31. O leader in war, line up his troops
That cannot be penetrated.

32. I have an example in you, in your defense
The day the trench was dug,

33. And the confederates attacked, besieging Medina,
You were still reinforced from the heavens and supported

34. Until you saw the people defeated,
Their multitude routed and torn apart.

35. O people who populate the prophet’s fragrant lands,
Over your lands his call is announced.

36. The lily adorned by him
His robes surrounding it and the hyacinth.

37. I am a flower blossoming in it
Free and primping.

38. I am a fresh fountain wherein is watered
The breast of the enemy, aimed at and splashed.

39. I am a sword in the face of one
Who intends to swallow you and masticate.

40. Indeed whoever desires your destruction
Apart from you is a fool!

41. A people cannot be blotted out
When girded by the prophets miracles.

42. Do not fear destruction, for you
By His promise will not be destroyed.

43. You still ascend the ranks of knowledge and elevation,
Ever climbing higher.

44. You are the true monotheist, so do not fear,
The monotheist is successful.
