1. We built, so the people approved the building,
And we replaced turmoil with tranquility.

2. We followed Ibn Badis, so we succeeded,
And through him we attained hope.

3. He cared for the president and brought together the flock,
And protected us with care and raised a banner.

4. He was always kind to us and we were his loyal sons.
We built for him honorable and faithful sons.

5. The Association of Scholars is but
Brothers who upheld true brotherhood.

6. In the country of Algeria there are families
That exchange goodwill and loyalty.

7. They cover them with kindness and support
For the sake of knowledge, not seeking reward.

8. So thank you, youth of the noble club, and praise
For you have honored knowledge with celebration.

9. We knew you as the true people of knowledge,
And you quickly respond to their call.

10. You are the most faithful in upholding values
And the most civilized in refinement.

11. Whoever turns to the scholars, turns to eternity,
And earns reward equal to theirs.

12. The most virtuous in generosity and the most fortunate
In God's reward is one who avoids hypocrisy.

13. May God protect you, you noble youth,
Witnessed by the most virtuous.

14. Your intimate talk poured out melodies, and were it not
For the majesty of knowledge, it would have invented songs.

15. It flowed to the ears as natural poetry and to the mouths as water.
If given deeper meaning, it would attain healing.

16. The highest struggle is free speech
With which to protect the people from affliction.

17. Youth of the club, I see eyes turn
To your glory that reached the heavens.

18. March on the path of glory and proceed,
And do not stop, content with your pace.

19. Remain stars on the horizon, flowers
We follow their rays for guidance.

20. You have triumphed in all you aimed for and succeeded
By the grace of God, beginning and end.
