1. May God not have mercy on one who revived me when dead,
For I have met the same fate that he met.
١. لا عذب الله ميتاً كان ينعشني
فقد لقيت بضري مثل ما لاقى
2. Death has folded him along with his virtues,
So after him, I have tasted death as he tasted.
٢. طواه موتٌ طوى مني مكارمه
فذقت من بعده بالموت ما ذاقا
