1. Slow down, O camel, for you have reached the mosque
And bow down reverently, for you are in the sanctuary of guidance

2. You went astray when you asked where is Muhammad
Have you not seen the shining star?

3. If you know the source of the light that
Split the darkness, then you have recognized Muhammad

4. It is he, so announce, O camel, his light
To dispel the night of blindness - but beware of hesitation

5. Ask him, listen to his words, and obey him
And follow his law as a guiding imam

6. Gather your strength, for you have reached the end
And lower your voice, for you have attained the watering place

7. Say what you will, for he will not refuse a questioner
Who seeks the truth, even if he persists and is stern

8. All that the Prophet said and repeats to you
Is truth, and it suffices you as gain that you bear witness

9. And you have been fortunate with the witnessing of a faithful believer
You would not have been happy if it weighed too heavily upon you

10. The Prophet and his companions praise you
For virtues you never hoped before to be praised

11. And sometimes the young man is adorned by a flaw
That gave him more honour and perfection

12. He accepted the guidance as religion and returned with blessing
Calling souls astray to God

13. The path was clear to his people so they surged
As groups seeking salvation from misery

14. They gained deliverance through him - O what a hand
That opened for the religion of God a closed door

15. Rejoice, O camel, for you have passed the goal
And reached in good fortune the farthest place
