1. Remember all the valiant ones of our people
In this remembrance there is life for generations

2. People live on only through those who survive ruin
And the passage of nights by guides and symbols

3. The realities in life are but the living
The rest are illusions and fantasies

4. They are the wealth of generations without them
Is only poverty beyond all means

5. When a person works not for after his day
Every living thing buries his memory after some days

6. Peace be upon the resident one though he has folded
To the farthest house three years

7. On the orbiting planet in the abyss of misery
When the fateful moons fold their overflowing tide

8. Peace and mercy be upon the destined
And every nation with worries and pain

9. Khalifa guided the leaders of the Nile
And emboldened them when danger called

10. He steadied them in times of adversity
And supported them when the archer missed

11. He keeps the flag of dread off his heart
When he intends to take on the sublime task

12. He sees the terrible harms that befell the country
And its people torn between despair and reluctance

13. A messenger of life for nations and a wake-up call
To a dormant tribe steeped in coziness

14. He kept at them until their leaps
Repelled the grizzly claw-handed beast
