4. Thus did the people suppose when Mus'ab fell down
They wandered drunk, making many claims

ูุฑุงุญูˆุง ุณููƒุงุฑู‰ ูŠููƒุซุฑูˆู† ุงู„ุฏุนุงูˆูŠุง

5. And the hearts of the believers cringed, so they shook
Fearing the catastrophes after the Prophet

6. Another group was shaken and turned their backs
Hurriedly dragging their families and belongings

7. Saying this is not what we wanted, and this is our Prophet
Fallen dead, if only he were still remaining

8. They did not advance until Umm Ayman stood up
Anger beyond fury and the highest tension

10. Saying return, after this no house of Medina
Will bless your presence as a resident

11. Do you, O people, seek an escape from your Lord?
Woe to you as you fear enemies

12. Come aid the upright religion and struggle
A struggle that shows us the bloody end of paganism

13. Whoever fears among you to return to turmoil
Goodness to you if you knew what Ma'tab said

14. You would send flowing tears like a cloud

15. Of benevolence, fulfilling the greatest duties
Circling the wounded, consoling the complainers

ู…ู† ุงู„ุฎูŠุฑู ุชู‚ุถูŠู†ูŽ ุงู„ุญูู‚ูˆู‚ูŽ ุงู„ุบูˆุงู„ูŠุง

16. Whose blood pours forth as you give drink to the thirsty
Your faith drove you to diligence for the Truth

17. Surpassing the farthest point when racing
I wonder about those who slander you - what did they see?

ูŠูŽููˆุชู ุงู„ู…ุฏู‰ ุงู„ุฃู‚ุตู‰ ุฅุฐุง ุฌุฏู‘ูŽ ุณุงุนูŠุง

18. Did their hands go mad or did they aim for a warrior?
Did they not see Hind that the sword spared her weakness

ุฃุทุงุดุชู’ ูŠุฏุงู‡ู ุฃู… ุฑู…ู‰ ู…ู†ูƒ ุบุงุฒูŠุง

19. And turned from her, abundant in grace and bounty?
A believer restrained himself though his religion

ููŽูŠูŽุตุฏู ุนู†ู‡ุง ูˆุงููุฑูŽ ุงู„ุจุฑู‘ู ูˆุงููŠุง

20. Is not like Hubbab's - he was surely astray
Sa'd requited him for the wrong of an oppressor

21. The Messenger of Allah was most pleased
And when Allah sent down sleep they withheld

22. Their wings - had Allah not willed, they were destroyed
Thus is the faith of souls - when its

23. Foundations are firm, it is heavy, anchored
The youth sleeps though death touches his ribs

24. Withdrawing, weak in conquest and frail
Avoiding him until his appointed day comes

ูˆูŠูŽุฑุฌูุนู ุนู†ู‡ ูˆุงู‡ู†ูŽ ุงู„ุธู‘ูุฑู ูˆุงู‡ูŠุง

25. The furthest thing from being seen as a survivor
So make your certainty into an impenetrable refuge

ูุฃุจุนุฏู ุดูŠุกู ุฃู† ูŠูุฑูŽู‰ ู…ู†ู‡ ู†ุงุฌูŠุง

26. Certainty alone suffices to protect a man
The slumberers' eyelids collapsed

ูขูฆ. ูู…ุง ุงุณุทุนุชูŽ ูุงุฌุนู„ ู…ูู† ูŠู‚ูŠู†ูƒ ุฌูู†ู‘ูŽุฉู‹
ูƒูู‰ ุจูŠู‚ูŠู†ู ุงู„ู…ุฑุกู ู„ู„ู…ุฑุกู ูˆุงู‚ูŠุง

27. And the reddened eyes of war shone
The prince of valor went forth, defending

28. kindling destruction, lions snarling
Shaking the stalwart foes, advancing

ูˆูŠููˆู„ูุนู ุจุงู„ูุชูƒู ุงู„ู„ู‘ูŠูˆุซูŽ ุงู„ุถูˆุงุฑูŠุง

29. Felling them in the fury of battle, bloodied
The concealed wounds followed them, captured them

30. With the prominent mark of poured out blood
Groaning for their rescue but muting their voices

31. To conceal what is secret and remains unseen
Its debris swirls around him

32. With continuous shooting flames encircling
He is the blessed leader - he never entered a whirlpool

ูฃูข. ุชุธู„ู‘ู ุดุธุงูŠุงู‡ุง ุชูŽุทุงูŠูŽุฑู ุญูˆู„ู‡
ูˆู„ู„ุฑู‘ู…ู’ูŠู ุฃู„ู‡ููˆุจูŒ ูŠููˆุงู„ูŠู‡ ุญุงู…ูŠุง

33. Until he saw the Truth raised high
Abu Talhah - see how he shoots his neighbor

34. Executing the hostile conspirators
Sa'd - do not go easy with your bow, launch

ู‚ุถุงุกู‹ ุนู„ู‰ ุงู„ู‚ูˆู…ู ุงู„ู…ู†ุงูƒูŠุฏู ุฌุงุฑูŠุง

35. Arrows that receive guidance from Allah's hand
Protect him and strike, O Suhayl, their soft parts

36. And allow me to portray for people those sights
And you, O Qatadah - take 3 refuge

37. in Him besides Whom you have no healer
Oh, if only I had reached Umm 'Ammaarah

ูฃูง. ูˆุนูŠู†ูŽูƒ ููŽุงุญู’ู…ูู„ู’ ูŠุง ู‚ุชุงุฏุฉู ุนุงุฆุฐุงู‹
ุจู…ู† ู„ุง ุชุฑู‰ ู…ูู† ุฏูˆู†ู‡ ู„ูƒ ุดุงููŠุง

38. To kiss the spot where her sandal tread
And witness those around the Prophet in their affliction

ูฃูจ. ุฃู„ุง ู„ูŠุชู†ูŠ ุฃุฏุฑูƒุชู ุฃู…ู‘ูŽ ุนู…ุงุฑุฉู
ูุฃู„ุซูู… ู…ู†ู‡ุง ู…ูŽูˆุทูุฆูŽ ุงู„ู†ู‘ุนู„ู ุฌุงุซูŠุง

39. And recite to her about Allah these rhymes
And make my face a shield for her face

ูฃูฉ. ูˆุฃุดู‡ุฏู ู…ู† ุญูˆู„ู ุงู„ู†ุจูŠู‘ู ุจู„ุงุกูŽู‡ุง
ูˆุฃูู†ุดูุฏูู‡ุง ููŠ ุงู„ู„ู‘ู‡ู ู‡ุฐูŠ ุงู„ู‚ูˆุงููŠุง

40. If a pagan ever threw at her from the front
Oh if only I had taken her wounds

ูคู . ูˆุฃุฌุนู„ู ู…ู† ูˆุฌู‡ููŠ ูˆูŽู‚ุงุกู‹ ู„ูˆุฌู‡ู‡ุง
ุฅุฐุง ู…ุง ุฑู…ุงู‡ุง ู…ูุดุฑููƒูŒ ู…ู† ุฃู…ุงู…ูŠุง

41. And been her rescuer in dire straits
She overflows with care and extinguishes

42. What even a vicious lion would not
Thus were the Muslims, and such

43. Were the qualities of the women among them
When dark tribulations knitted their clouds

ุณุฌุงูŠุง ุงู„ู„ูˆุงุชูŠ ูƒู†ู‘ูŽ ููŠู‡ู… ุฏุฑุงุฑูŠุง

44. They dispelled afflictions or tore apart the glooms
For the wide world's glorious aspects are brief flashes

ูคูค. ุฅุฐุง ุงู„ุญุงุฏุซุงุชู ุงู„ุณู‘ูˆุฏู ุนุจู‘ูŽ ุนูุจุงุจู‡ุง
ูƒูŽููู†ูŽ ุงู„ุจู„ุงูŠุง ุฃูˆ ูƒุดูู†ูŽ ุงู„ุฏูŠุงุฌูŠุง

45. If mentioned, so let one who is bold set forth
Every wondrous meaning has eternal wisdom

46. Would that my people understand the meanings
And alas if their elders did not find

ููŠุง ู„ูŠุชูŽ ู‚ูˆู…ูŠ ูŠูู‡ู…ูˆู† ุงู„ู…ุนุงู†ูŠุง

47. A preserver to convey them, not inert to awareness
When you see destruction as the people's constant lot

48. Take pity on them, on whoever was the builder
It has every meaning of eternity, each a marvel
