2. A breeze after a breeze and invigoration
In the realm of generosity after invigoration

3. In Hunain a helping hand and in Uhud a brother
And this is Tabuk filled with overflowing

4. From livestock you slaughtered, feeding the army
And quenching its thirst and fatigue

5. Tasting the hardship of exertion that sufficed him
While harvesting determination, content

6. Circumstances tried him in obeying Allah
Yet he never once objected

7. Knowing that the best of fates is what He desired
And the best of matters is what He decreed

8. For you among the Muslims, O son of Abdullah
Is a blessed light of determination

9. Good deeds shine if performed with sincerity
And prayers flow abundantly

10. Thus is the blessed believer fulfilling
In his life the song of meadows

11. Repelling mighty tribulations and fulfilling
Rights, generous before the litigation
