1. O Lord, we now fear the aggressors,
O Lord, we want no one but You as protector,

2. Grant us safety and a pleasant living,
And turn not away today any supplicant,

3. For the enemies have bred havoc,
And frightened the elders and children,

4. And abandoned Your religion, a healing custom,
And made its standards totter from the foundations,

5. O Lord, make tremble Your hostile foe,
And give him from You sufficient punishment,

6. And be for what souls dread, sufficient.
