1. O Lord, affairs have become straitened and distress intense,
And we have been overwhelmed by calamities that have befallen.

2. The souls have been turbulent due to intense grief,
And none is revealed to except You.

3. And who else can be their protector besides You,
When the rope of hope has broken?

4. Indeed the enemy has frightened us with what he has done,
So safety has become scarce for souls and difficult.

5. O Lord, disperse what he has gathered of his strength.
