2. Help has come to you, so you hastened,
Go freely, your imprisonment and worry are over.

3. You have escaped from the snares of people
Who have harmed you greatly and been unjust.

ุฐูู‚ู’ุชูŽ ู…ู†ู‡ู… ุฃุฐู‰ู‹ ูƒุซูŠุฑุงู‹ ูˆูŽุธูู„ู…ุง

4. They made truth their adversary out of ignorance,
And ignorant is he who makes truth his adversary.

5. You have come to the house of the Prophet, so enter and greet,
And observe the rights of the place with soul and body.

ูฅ. ุฌูุฆุชูŽ ุฏูŽุงุฑูŽ ุงู„ู†ุจูŠู‘ู ูุงุฏุฎูู„ู’ ูˆูŽุณูŽู„ู‘ูู…ู’
ูˆูŽุงุฑู’ุนูŽ ุญู‚ู‘ูŽ ุงู„ู…ู‚ุงู…ู ุฑููˆุญุงู‹ ูˆุฌุณู’ู…ุง

6. How you wished for a fortress for yourself,
So look to the fortresses of your Lord collectively.

ููŽุชูŽุฃู…ู‘ูŽู„ู’ ุญูุตูˆู†ูŽ ุฑุจู‘ููƒูŽ ุดูู…ู‘ูŽุง

7. And accept the judgement of the Messenger, you are held back,
And one like him judges fairly and wisely.

ูง. ูˆูŽุงุฑู’ุถูŽ ุญููƒู…ูŽ ุงู„ุฑุณูˆู„ู ุฅู†ู‘ูƒูŽ ู…ูŽุฑู’ุฏููˆ
ุฏูŒ ูˆู…ูŽู†ู’ ู…ูุซู’ู„ูู‡ู ู‚ุถุงุกู‹ ูˆุญููƒู…ุง

8. This is Khuways and the document of Ibn โ€˜Awf,
So adhere to patience, the matter is settled.

9. They asked him for protection in the presence of the most generous protector,
So he gave them safety and forbearance.

10. Turn back, O Abu Basir, the religion is not
The religion of deceivers, treachery and sin.

ุฏูŠู†ู ุฏูŠู†ู ุงู„ู‡ูุฏูŽุงุฉู ุบูŽุฏู’ุฑุงู‹ ูˆุฅุซู…ุง

11. God is enough for you, He is helper for you
And will suffice you against every painful matter.

12. He is the Protector of the oppressed, delivering them
When tribulation becomes severe and overwhelming.

ู‡ู…ู’ ุฅุฐุง ู…ุง ุทูŽุบูŽู‰ ุงู„ุจูŽู„ุงุกู ูˆุทูŽู…ู‘ูŽุง

13. Returning to his two companions, he recited to them from the Qurโ€™an
What fills souls with purity and elevation.

ูกูฃ. ุนุงุฏ ูŠูุฎููŠ ู„ุตุงุญูุจูŽูŠู’ู‡ู ู…ูู†ูŽ ุงู„ุดู†
ุขู†ู ู…ุง ูŠูŽู…ู„ุฃู ุงู„ุฌูˆุงู†ูุญูŽ ุณูู…ู‘ูŽุง

14. And he revived them with the owner of the chain-mail armour when their souls
Were close to passing away in anxiety and sorrow.

ูกูค. ูˆุดูŽููŽุงู‡ูŽุง ุจุฐููŠ ุงู„ุญูู„ูŽูŠู’ููŽุฉู ู†ูŽูู’ุณุงู‹
ุฃูˆุดูƒูŽุชู’ ุฃู† ุชุฒูˆู„ูŽ ู‡ูŽู…ู‘ุงู‹ ูˆุบูŽู…ู‘ุง

15. He saw the sword in the hands of one of the adversaries
Revealing death and poison from it.

ูกูฅ. ู†ุธุฑ ุงู„ุณูŠููŽ ููŠ ูŠูŽุฏูŽูŠู’ ุฃุญุฏู ุงู„ุฎูŽุตู’
ู…ูŽูŠู’ู†ู ูŠูุจุฏูŠ ู…ู† ุงู„ู…ู†ูŠู‘ุฉู ูˆูŽุณู’ู…ุง

16. As he brandished it arrogantly and made
The souls of the unjust drink conjecture and supposition.

ูกูฆ. ูˆูŽู‡ู’ูˆูŽ ูŠูุทู’ุฑููŠู‡ู ููŠ ุบูุฑูˆุฑู ูˆูŽูŠูŽุณู’ู‚ููŠ
ู‡ู ู†ููููˆุณูŽ ุงู„ูƒูู…ุงุฉู ุธูŽู†ู‘ุงู‹ ูˆูŽุฒูŽุนู’ู…ุง

17. He said, โ€œRather, give it to me to look at it, for
I have more knowledge about the qualities of swords.โ€

18. Then he struck him a blow that taught him
How one who is brave fears the sword if he is bold.

19. He came to catch him unawares, but he repelled him
And proceeded to avoid his fate in case it became heated.

20. The bird flew swiftly like an arrow, traveling far,
As he distanced himself greatly from shooting range.

ูŠุชูˆู‚ู‘ูŽู‰ ู‚ูŽุถุงุกูŽู‡ู ุฃู† ูŠูŽุญูู…ู‘ุง

21. The sword itself sought him as he was heedless,
If it would taste rejection, its flavour would not have passed.

ูˆู‡ูˆ ุฃู†ุฃูŽู‰ ู…ูŽุฏูŽู‰ู‹ ูˆุฃุจุนุฏ ู…ูŽุฑู’ู…ูŽู‰

22. The delusion lied, life is nothing but safety
And the worst of matters is that which is fanciful.

23. The fleeing bird landed on the eagle
That fills the heavens with determination and resolve.

ู†ู ูˆุดุฑู‘ู ุงู„ุฃู…ูˆุฑู ู…ุง ูƒุงู† ูˆูŽู‡ู’ู…ุง

24. The Messenger to whom the earth and its inhabitants submit,
Whether in war or peace.

ูขูค. ูˆูŽู‚ูŽุนูŽ ุงู„ุทู‘ุงุฆูุฑู ุงู„ู…ูุณููู‘ู ุนู„ู‰ ุงู„ู†ู‘ูŽุณ
ุฑู ุงู„ุฐูŠ ูŠู…ู„ุฃู ุงู„ุณู…ุงูˆุงุชู ุนูŽุฒู’ู…ุง

25. He said, โ€œI am doomed, so grant me protection,
Do not leave me as prey for some of your companions.โ€

ูขูฅ. ุงู„ุฑุณูˆู„ ุงู„ุฐูŠ ุชูŽุฏูŠู†ู ู„ู‡ ุงู„ุฃุฑ
ุถู ูˆุชู‡ููˆ ุฅู„ูŠู‡ ุญูŽุฑู’ุจุงู‹ ูˆุณูู„ู…ุง

26. โ€œKeep Abu Basir away from me, suffice me
What he has committed against me of injury and wounding.โ€

ูขูฆ. ู‚ุงู„ ุฅู†ู‘ูŠ ู„ู‡ุงู„ููƒูŒ ูุฃูŽุฌูุฑู’ู†ููŠ
ู„ุง ุชูŽุฏูŽุนู’ู†ููŠ ู„ุจุนุถู ุตุญุจููƒูŽ ุบูู†ู’ู…ุง

27. He drank destruction, killed my two companions, and set out
To seek my murder, so that crime may follow crime.

ูขูง. ุฑูุฏู‘ูŽ ุนู†ู‘ูŠ ุฃุจุง ุจุตูŠุฑู ูุญุณุจูŠ
ู…ุง ุฌู†ุงู‡ู ุนู„ูŠู‘ูŽ ุตูŽุฏู’ุนุงู‹ ูˆูƒูŽู„ู’ู…ุง

28. He came running, bearing the sword,
So for me, shed his blood, yours is abundant thanks.

ูขูจ. ุฌูŽุฑู‘ูŽุนูŽ ุงู„ุญุชููŽ ุตุงุญุจูŠ ูˆุงู†ุจุฑู‰ ูŠุท
ู„ุจู ู‚ูŽุชู„ููŠ ู„ููŠูุชู’ุจูุนูŽ ุงู„ุฌูุฑู…ูŽ ุฌูุฑู…ุง

29. He forgave him and said, โ€œThere is nothing here,
O Prophet of guidance, I see the matter has been completed.โ€

ูขูฉ. ุฅู†ู‘ู‡ ุฌุงุกูŽ ุฑุงูƒุถุงู‹ ูŠุญู…ู„ู ุงู„ุณู‘ูŽูŠ
ููŽ ูู‡ุจ ู„ูŠ ุฏูŽู…ููŠ ู„ูŽูƒูŽ ุงู„ุดู‘ูƒุฑู ุฌูŽู…ู‘ูŽุง

30. The covenant was fulfilled and nullified, so look
At what you see and judge it justly and wisely.โ€

ูฃู . ุนูŽูู‘ูŽ ุนู†ู‡ ูˆู‚ุงู„ ู…ุง ุซูŽู…ู‘ูŽ ุดูŽูŠุกูŒ
ูŠุง ู†ูŽุจููŠู‘ูŽ ุงู„ู‡ูุฏูŽู‰ ุฃุฑู‰ ุงู„ุฃู…ุฑูŽ ุชูŽู…ู‘ุง

31. He said, โ€œThen go, for you are absolved and it is wrong
To blame the innocent or insult him.โ€

ูฃูก. ุตูŽุฏูŽู‚ูŽ ุงู„ุนูŽู‡ุฏู ูˆุงู†ู‚ูŽุถูŽู‰ ุงู„ุฑุฏู‘ู ูุงู†ุธุฑู’
ู…ุง ุชูŽุฑูŽู‰ ูุงู‚ุถูู‡ู ุณูŽุฏุงุฏุงู‹ ูˆูŽุญูŽุฒู’ู…ุง

32. โ€œYou may take from the land whatever you wish
Except the land of Yathrib, whether you reside or visit.โ€

ูฃูข. ู‚ุงู„ ูุงุฐู’ู‡ุจู’ ูู‚ุฏ ุจูŽุฑูุฆู’ุชูŽ ูˆุธูู„ู…ูŒ
ุฃู† ูŠูู„ุงู…ูŽ ุงู„ุจุฑูŠุกู ุฃูˆ ุฃู† ูŠูุฐูŽู…ู‘ุง

33. So he turned away to a place where disbelief grows
And covers the disbelievers in sinking and choking.

ูฃูฃ. ู„ูƒ ู…ุง ุดูุฆู’ุชูŽ ุฃู† ุชูŽุญูู„ู‘ูŽ ู…ู† ุงู„ุฃุฑ
ุถู ุณููˆูŽู‰ ุฃุฑุถู ูŠุซุฑุจู ุฃูˆ ุชูŽุคูู…ู‘ุง

34. Every caravan of Quraysh passes by him
Openly, it cannot be concealed.

ูฃูค. ูุชูˆู„ู‘ูŽู‰ ุฅู„ู‰ ู…ูƒุงู†ู ูŠูŽุฒูŠุฏู ุงู„
ูƒูุฑูŽ ูˆุงู„ูƒุงููุฑูŠู†ูŽ ุฎูŽุณู’ูุงู‹ ูˆูŽุฑูŽุบู’ู…ุง

35. It is Al-Arqam the deaf, the deaf gathered around him
And rallied around him deafly.

ูฃูฅ. ูƒู„ู‘ู ู…ุงู„ู ุชูู‚ูู„ู‘ู ุนููŠุฑู ู‚ูุฑูŠุดู
ุจูŠู† ุนูŠู†ูŠู‡ู ุธุงู‡ุฑูŒ ู„ูŠุณ ูŠููƒู’ู…ูŽู‰

36. A believer who settled in the open spaces,
Gathering the believers around him and embracing them.

ูฃูฆ. ุฅู†ู‘ู‡ ุงู„ุฃุฑู‚ู…ู ุงู„ุฃุตูŽู…ู‘ู ุชูŽุฏุงุนูŽุชู’
ูุงุฑุชู…ุชู’ ุญูˆู„ู‡ ุงู„ุฃุฑุงู‚ู…ู ุตูู…ู‘ุง

37. They came slipping away from every crevice
Seeking sustenance morsel by morsel.

ูฃูง. ู…ูุคู…ูู†ูŒ ุญู„ู‘ูŽ ููŠ ุงู„ุนุฑุงุกู ู…ูŽุญูŽู„ู‘ุงู‹
ุฌูŽู…ูŽุนูŽ ุงู„ู…ุคู…ู†ูŠู†ูŽ ููŠู‡ู ูˆูŽุถูŽู…ู‘ูŽุง

38. The Possessor of the Throne brought them together after their fracture,
And it is fitting for Him to unite them and bring them together.

ูฃูจ. ุฃู‚ุจู„ูˆุง ูŠูŽู†ุณู„ูˆู† ู…ูู† ูƒู„ู‘ู ุฃูŽูˆุจู
ูŠูŽุทู„ุจูˆู†ูŽ ุงู„ู…ูŽุตูŽุงู„ูŽ ู‚ูŽุฑู’ู…ูŽุง ูู‚ุฑู…ุง

39. O Abu Jandal, upon you is peace,
You came with the horses, stirring up the earth with galloping.

ูฃูฉ. ู„ู…ู‘ูŽ ุฐูˆ ุงู„ุนุฑุดู ุดูŽู…ู„ู‡ู… ุจุนุฏ ุตูŽุฏู’ุนู
ูˆูŽุฎูŽู„ููŠู’ู‚ูŒ ุจุดูŽู…ู„ูู‡ูู… ุฃู† ูŠูู„ูŽู…ู‘ูŽุง

40. Forgive what your father Suhayl did to you
The day he transgressed against you with beating and striking.

ูคู . ูŠุง ุฃุจุง ุฌู†ุฏู„ู ุนู„ูŠูƒ ุณู„ุงู…ูŒ
ุฌูุฆุชูŽ ุจุงู„ุฎูŠู„ู ุชูŽุฑุฌูู…ู ุงู„ุฃุฑุถูŽ ุฑูŽุฌู’ู…ุง

41. But the patient will have the fullest share,
O Abu Jandal, and the most bountiful portion.

ูคูก. ุงุบุชูŽููุฑู’ ู…ุง ุฌูŽู†ูŽู‰ ุฃุจูˆูƒ ุณูู‡ูŽูŠู’ู„ูŒ
ูŠูˆู…ูŽ ูŠุทุบูŽู‰ ุนู„ูŠูƒ ุถูŽุฑุจุงู‹ ูˆู„ูŽุทู’ู…ุง

42. They carried out killing and looting and restored
Every gain the people seized unjustly.

ูคูข. ุฅู†ู‘ู…ุง ุงู„ุตุงุจูุฑูˆู†ูŽ ุฃูˆูู‰ ู†ูŽุตูŠุจุงู‹
ูŠุง ุฃุจุง ุฌูŽู†ุฏู„ู ูˆุฃูŽูˆูุฑู ู‚ูุณู’ู…ุง

43. Raid after raid consuming wealth
And folding men in ruin and devastation.

ูคูฃ. ุฃุนู…ู„ูˆุง ุงู„ู‚ุชู„ูŽ ูˆุงู„ู†ู‘ูู‡ุงุจูŽ ูˆูŽุฑูŽุฏู‘ููˆุง
ูƒู„ู‘ูŽ ุบูู†ู…ู ุฃุตุงุจู‡ ุงู„ู‚ูˆู…ู ุบูุฑู’ู…ุง

44. They were shaken by Abu Basir with calamitiesโ€”
His fracture could not be mended.

ูคูค. ุบุงุฑุฉูŒ ุจุนุฏ ุบุงุฑุฉู ุชุฃูƒู„ู ุงู„ู…ุง
ู„ูŽ ูˆุชูŽุทูˆูŠ ุงู„ุฑุฌุงู„ูŽ ุฎูŽุถู’ู…ุงู‹ ูˆูŽู‚ูŽุถู’ู…ุง

45. Mikhdham, a fierce cutter, and Misโ€˜ar, skilled in warโ€”
The cutting blades tested them in battle.

ูคูฅ. ุฒูู„ุฒูู„ููˆุง ู…ู† ุฃุจูŠ ุจูŽุตูŠุฑู ุจุฎุทุจู
ุจุงู„ุบู ุตูŽุฏู’ุนูู‡ู ุฃุจูŽู‰ ุฃู† ูŠูุฑูŽู…ู‘ุง

46. The routes narrowed and the open spaces confined them
And the atmosphere became obstructed and blocked.

ูคูฆ. ู…ูุฎุฐูŽู…ูŒ ู‚ุงุทุนูŒ ูˆู…ูุณู’ุนูŽุฑู ุญุฑุจู
ุฌูŽุฑู‘ูŽุจุชู’ู‡ู ุงู„ุจููŠุถู ุงู„ู‚ูˆุงุทูุนู ู‚ูุฏู’ู…ุง

47. He returned joined together as if he were a barrier
And Gog and Magog whom you do not see a gap in.

ูคูง. ุถุงู‚ุชู ุงู„ุณู‘ูุจู’ู„ู ูˆุงู„ูุฌุงุฌู ุนู„ูŠู‡ู…
ูˆุงุณุชุญุงู„ูŽ ุงู„ูุถุงุกู ุณูŽุฏู‘ุงู‹ ูˆุฑูŽุฏู’ู…ุง

48. They cried out complaining and recalled the wombs that bore them,
Appealing out of cowardice and baseness.

ูคูจ. ุนุงุฏูŽ ุฑูŽุชู’ู‚ูŽุงู‹ ูƒุฃู†ู‘ู‡ ุณุฏู‘ู ูŠุฃุฌูˆ
ุฌูŽ ูˆู…ุฃุฌูˆุฌูŽ ู…ุง ุชุฑู‰ ููŠู‡ ุซูŽู„ู’ู…ุง

49. And they sought affection from the most affectionate of people,
The most affectionate, and the closest of messengers in mercy.

ูคูฉ. ุฌุฃุฑูˆุง ูŠุดุชูƒูˆู† ูˆุงุฏู‘ูŽูƒุฑูˆุง ุงู„ุฃุฑ
ุญุงู…ูŽ ูŠุณุชุดูุนูˆู† ุฌูุจู’ู†ุงู‹ ูˆู„ูุคู’ู…ูŽุง

50. Their leader said, โ€œHelp us and do not deprive us,
For hearts are surely blind.โ€

ูฅู . ูˆุงุณุชู…ุฏู‘ูˆุง ุงู„ุญู†ุงู†ูŽ ู…ู† ุฃุนุธู…ู ุงู„ู†ู‘ุง
ุณู ุญูŽู†ุงู†ุงู‹ ูˆุฃู‚ุฑุจู ุงู„ุฑู‘ูุณู’ู„ู ุฑูุญู’ู…ุง

51. โ€œThe covenant has ruined our affairs, so we recognize it,
And what do we have if the matter becomes clouded?โ€

ูฅูก. ู‚ุงู„ ุฐููˆ ุฃู…ุฑูู‡ูู… ุฃูŽุบูุซู’ู†ุง ูˆู„ุง ุชูŽุนู’
ู†ูŽูู’ ุนู„ูŠู†ุง ุฅู†ู‘ ุงู„ู‚ู„ูˆุจูŽ ู„ูŽุชูŽุนู’ู…ูŽู‰

52. โ€œWe have left the men for you, so restrain
Whoever you wish of them that you condemn.โ€

55. Abu Basir did not leave them, the archer of death
Does not cease unleashing arrows at them, arrow after arrow.

60. And Abu Jandal leading the Messenger of God
In a group growing closer to God.

61. The star of truth and guidance receiving
From its guiding companions star after star.

ู‡ู ููŠ ุฑููู’ู‚ูŽุฉู ุฅู„ู‰ ุงู„ู„ู‡ู ุชูู†ู’ู…ูŽู‰

62. They arose while the times were dark gloom
So they brought out of its darkness what was pitch-black.

ูฆูข. ูƒูˆูƒุจู ุงู„ุญู‚ู‘ู ูˆุงู„ู‡ุฏู‰ ูŠูŽุชูŽู„ูŽู‚ู‘ูŽู‰
ู…ู† ุฐูˆูŠู‡ู ุงู„ู‡ูุฏุงุฉู ู†ูŽุฌู…ุงู‹ ูู†ุฌู…ุง

63. And they threw with rays the death of a religionโ€”
Its face had turned ashen from oppression.

64. Know the truth and do not let claims alarm you
For nobility and virtues are there.

65. What glory on earth or merit
Did not have them as foundation and root?

ูฆูฅ. ุงุนู’ุฑููู ุงู„ุญู‚ู‘ูŽ ู„ุง ุชูŽุฑูุนู’ูƒูŽ ุงู„ุฏู‘ูŽุนุงูˆู‰
ูุงู„ู…ุฑูˆุขุชู ูˆุงู„ู…ู†ุงู‚ุจู ุซูŽู…ู‘ูŽุง

66. In the wisdom of the Messenger there is a reminder
For the intelligent one who has reason and understanding.

ู„ู… ูŠูƒูˆู†ูˆุง ู„ู‡ ุฃุณุงุณุงู‹ ูˆูŽุฌูุฐู’ู…ุง

67. God destroyed what the covenant had built of the hopes
Of people who wish destruction upon the religion.

ูฆูง. ุฅู† ููŠ ุญููƒู…ูŽุฉู ุงู„ุฑุณูˆู„ู ู„ูŽุฐููƒู’ุฑูŽู‰
ู„ู„ุจูŠุจู ุฃุตุงุจูŽ ุนูŽู‚ู’ู„ุงู‹ ูˆูู‡ู…ุง

68. How many scenes of illusion they saw in itโ€”
A scene with awe-inspiring delusions and grandeur!

ูฆูจ. ู‡ูŽุฏู…ูŽ ุงู„ู„ู‡ ู…ุง ุจู†ู‰ ุงู„ุนู‡ุฏู ู…ู† ุข
ู…ุงู„ู ู‚ูˆู…ู ูŠุจุบูˆู†ูŽ ู„ู„ุฏูŠู†ู ู‡ูŽุฏู’ู…ุง

69. Let not a brief rain deceive them while palms
cupped,

ูฆูฉ. ูƒู… ุฑุฃูˆุง ู…ู† ู…ูŽุดูŽุงู‡ูุฏู ุงู„ูˆู‡ู…ู ููŠู‡
ู…ูŽุดู‡ุฏุงู‹ ุฑุงุฆุนูŽ ุงู„ุชู‡ุงูˆูŠู„ู ูุฎู…ุง

70. It is the flood about to cover everything.
A determination from the guidance of the Messenger and affection

ูงู . ู„ุงูŽ ูŠูŽุบูุฑู‘ูŽู†ู‘ูŽู‡ู… ู…ู† ุงู„ุบูŠุซู ูˆูŽูƒููŒ
ุฅู†ู‘ู‡ ุงู„ุณูŠู„ู ู…ููˆุดููƒูŒ ุฃู† ูŠูŽุนูู…ู‘ูŽุง

71. That inherits polytheism and misguidance barrenness.
It did not cease striking the tyrants until

ูงูก. ู‡ูู…ู‘ูŽุฉูŒ ู…ู† ู‡ูุฏูŽู‰ ุงู„ุฑุณูˆู„ู ูˆูŽู„ููˆุฏูŒ
ุชููˆุฑูุซู ุงู„ุดู‘ูุฑู’ูƒูŽ ูˆุงู„ุถูŽู„ุงู„ูŽุฉูŽ ุนูู‚ู’ู…ุง

72. It made them taste disgrace and orphanhood.
There is indeed for the truth, after softness and weakness,

ูงูข. ู„ู… ุชุฒู„ ุชูŽุถุฑูุจู ุงู„ุทูˆุงุบูŠุชูŽ ุญูŽุชู‘ูŽู‰
ุฌูŽุฑู‘ูŽุนูŽุชู’ู‡ุง ุงู„ุฑูุฒุฃูŽูŠู’ู†ู ุซููƒู’ู„ุงู‹ ูˆูŽูŠูุชู’ู…ุง

73. Strength that definitively ends falsehood.
An endeavor from the guidance of the Messenger and amity

ูงูฃ. ุฅู†ู‘ ู„ู„ุญู‚ู‘ู ุจุนุฏูŽ ู„ูŠู†ู ูˆุถุนูู
ู‚ููˆู‘ูŽุฉู‹ ุชูŽุญุณู…ู ุงู„ุฃุจุงุทูŠู„ูŽ ุญูŽุณู’ู…ุง
