1. You are the ideal for every free and honest soul
Who refuses fluctuation in matters as a way

2. Rise with the horizons of prudence as a guide
I see you as its hoped for imam

3. The imams abandoned you in a stance
The successor stood in it to protect the slain

4. You find the Prophet wandering in his sorrows
And you see Gabriel in its corners

5. They described you as the lonely weak one, yet we
See you alone as a nation and tribe

6. And we see the transgressors, though they have
Increased beyond the number of sands a little

7. You revived the constitution of the country so it
Returned the honest protectors' killing in vain

8. The martyr was carried on the necks of his carriers
So look, will his funeral bier arrive carried

9. You are blamed, you placed in their oaths after defeat
Your polished sword

10. And you sent from the past ages an educator
A free man who teaches his time and generation

11. The people are most miserable with his knowledge
If he is immoral and minds go astray

12. Trusted one, did you give the issue its right
And judge it with your accepted rule

13. And enact for the leaders a religion of guidance
That erases hypocrisy and destroys misleading

14. A religion in whose rulings the truth takes
Refuge with determination and lengthy jihad

15. The greatest sin in it is that a youth finds
Despair and struggle is covered in boredom

16. And disbelief altogether is to negotiate with an enemy
Seeking from the great danger an alternative

17. And the enemy will not give you from his treasures
Except if he takes generous payment

18. Is it in your book that a people attain their rights
Who see seeking rights as superfluous

19. And they worry from mention of life as if they
Find life from fear a ghoul
