1. We are the sons of Uthman, the banners of the world,
And over the land the banners rise high.

2. We are the emblem when people take pride,
And among people some are marked and some are emblems.

3. Our affairs are governed and kept upright,
By a king at the command of his mighty God.

4. Broad of arm, his capability we care for,
His view in dilemmas is a sharp sword.

5. Abdul Hamid enabled in his days,
For the king what days had taken away.

6. Had it not been for his ferocity and might,
And his flames, Islam would have crumbled.

7. He still protects his basin as he came to it,
As the intense darkness protects its darkness.

8. A king who stays up at night, looking to the morrow,
What he will set right while kings are sleeping.

9. He prevented the caliphate, its castles,
Until its plateaus confused imaginations.

10. Staunchly, to the noses of a group who prided themselves,
With the kingdom what dreams had not prided them with.

11. The Greeks knew well that we are a folk,
Valiant with spears, striking with swords.

12. White of face when the ugly one snarled,
And destiny marked it with iron under the skin.

13. We conquer and vanquish the honored and mighty,
The swords complain of our striking and determination.

14. We roar and our dreams prove true,
While their dreams about us keep wishing.

15. And it was mercy for Rome we left them,
A wound the length of days does not mend.

16. We will indeed prevent violation of our sanctity,
And shake the lands when it is violated.

17. Continue, O Commander of the Faithful, for what
Remains for those who opposed you in both worlds?

18. You still stand, O pillar of the caliphate, towering,
Nomads and settled folk chant your glory.
